Anyone know the predictions for Monday?
The Lone Ranger at 28% on RT. It was speculated in here how important RT rating could be for certain people in determining whether or not they will see a movie. Curious to see if this has any effect for this film or this kind of film with Depp is critic proof.
Normally I would say Johnny Depp is critic proof, but LR is not tracking well and is not even in the top five of Fandango's advance ticket sales (ouch!). The bad reviews may just may help drive audiences to other options.![]()

I will watch it and decide for myself,I too saw "good ol' summer fun" in the advertisings and was hoping for a popcorn munching action adventure, but apparently its way too long, too dry, too dreary and tiresome. Looks like the POTC crew bombed on this one.
I will watch it and decide for myself,
Critics be damned.
I'm so excited to watch The Long Ranger tomorrow.![]()
The Long Ranger was a kickass movie.![]()
Now I really can't wait to watch this "epic fun ride" where William Fitchner is the scene-stealer and 2 1/2 hours in length.![]()
So what are the predictions for Monday's numbers? I did my part today by seeing it for a 5th time. Hopefully many others across the country did too.
At the moment, I think the numbers are $3.5 million.
Hmm yeah William "The Shredder" Fichtner![]()
Don't you mean, "Eric Sachs"?
(yes. That is the Shredders real name in the movie. Its not Oroku Saki.)
