Who thinks World Finest would be a better way forward post MOS2 rather than solo and Justice League movie?

We all know World Finest is a billion dollar franchise even before it hits cinemas.
Introducing the other heroes via this way, drip feeding if you like, would be a safe way for
WB to ensure Box office success...and continue keeping us happy.

The solo movies could be explored after MOS, world finest (perhaps 3 instalments to establish the heroes for the big team-up) and Justice League cycle, kind of doing it the opposite way to Marvel.

What do you think guys?

I wouldnt mind that , as long as it is indeed a third film.
What would be really great are Two MOS Sequels where Superman is the only Superhero in the films ,
They can mention the DCU but, thats all.
And if they didnt mention other heroes, that would be okay with me too.

Isn't the loss of screens just par for the course, or is MOS losing more than would normally be the case,due to a higher amount of 'tent pole' movies in a very crowded marketplace?

No, but each showing might be fuller. So there could still be an upside for MOS due to WHD & LR underperforming.

Places with smaller theaters, thus limited number of screens had to bump MoS. Others that can accommodate just reduce the number of showings per day and move them to screens with lower number of seats.

That is a good point .
I wouldnt be surprised if WHD has a slightly bigger holiday bump than LR though, at least for today.

I said this in the JL forum but what would he even agree to? there is no Justice League currently in production and may not be one for years to come.

No actor would agree to a film that may or may not happen.

Make MOS2 a cliffhanger and bring Batman in for the last 5 minutes to set up MOS3 aka World's Finest. Actually have Clark meet Bruce early in the movie, and then have Superman summon Batman for help at the end when the s@it hits the fan and it looks like all is lost. Then show them both together clearly outnumbered by a superior foe. Cue the end titles.
