people actually want that guy for batman?
But he's so innocent and cheery looking. All those Tim Sale drawings of the character...really?

He seems more like the Marvel Studios cap type imo.

Anyways, Cavill has another film to make, I don't see him releasing MOS2 next year.

Cheery looking?

There is no release date or even a date for when production is going to start on that movie. Plus its being released by WB. Now if WB wants to fast track MOS and needs Cavill then they will hold off on Uncle

...Or WB could just replace Cavill on U.N.C.L.E altogether. WB will have their way no matter what, but I have a feeling that they will let Cavill film U.N.C.L.E first and probably start production on MOS II early next year. Its just my hunch.

I one those who think Hammer would be a good Batman:o

With the exception of GL, I have always seen that as WBs thing: quality over quantity.

I think you forgot Catwoman, and I thought SR is perceived as a failure? Quite frankly, if it weren't for Chris Nolan who knows how well WB would've fared with another director in his place? I'm glad to see that WB has gradually figured out what to do with their superhero movies, though.

Also, I bet WB is not happy with the mixed reviews MOS received. I bet they will take their time and focus on the perceived weaker elements of MOS.

with the amount of story MoS had to squeeze into 2 & 1/2 hours it was always gonna have some pacing & character development problems .. i'm sure MoS2 will do better in that regard now that the big foundation has been laid .. plus, the "controversial points" of this film has people talking about it in a way you don't often experience .. and that curiosity is good for box office any way you slice it IMO

Having seen the movie, I still think was a dumb poster. It would have made a great sequel poster though.

Yeah sorry WB's "thing" is cold hard cash. The more the better. NOLAN's thing is quality. Big difference.

And rushing along a JL movie kind of proves the point. Sorry.

What? Was Warner Brothers not the company that put out the batman trilogy? Is Nolan a different company?

And there is nothing saying for sure that they are rushing along with a JL movie. Just something that says "as early as"

I am not even sure what you are trying to say

No but in general it'll stay flat or drop slightly.

Now that the finals are going to a game 7 expect a hefty drop on Thursday.

In general the first Tuesday after a big release will stay flat or drop a bit.

Hahaha no. The only sport here in America that would affect box office is football. Even then only the super bowl and maybe the semi finals would affect anything noticably

has the summer break, school holiday begin?

Ugh! I hate the heat even more now :cmad:

I like the Heat, but damn that game was rigged. Spurs choked in the 4th, but OT was rigged without a doubt. Spurs should've had 5 free throws (2 for Manu and 3 for Green). :cmad:

I don't WB to oversaturate the market like Marvel Studios and Disney have recently. I think they should take 2014 off and focus on MOS2 (2015) and WF/JL (2016). For me it's always been quality over quantity.
Is 2 movies a year really over-saturation?

I did my part, I saw it in IMAX 3D in the afternoon on Tuesday. I plan to see it again on Friday to help the 2nd weekend box office. Then I'll probably see it again next week on Monday or Tuesday.

As you can tell I LOVE this movie. I haven't seen a film multiple times since TDK, and I only saw that twice in theaters and felt satisfied. With MoS it got even better the second time around and I want even more.

While I was sitting in the theater during the first act on Krypton all I was thinking was how awesome it was, and how much I would actually really enjoy a Krypton prequel/spin off. I want to go back to that world that Snyder created, it's incredible. It's what GL should have been
