The quirky chats between Peter and Gwen after Peter's talk with the principal and on the roof is not how people actually talk. It's movie talk and quirky movie talk at that.

And while I wasn't talking about the clothes...

yah, that's gotta go.

Yah...TAS-M needs to do something otherwise if it gets pushed to 2015...it'll get ****ed ******** style.
Have you seen a modern teenager in your life? Because if you don't think that what Peter Parker wears in the movie is "hipster", then your basically saying that an enormously large portion of the human race are hipsters for wearing jackets, t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers.

I don't mind his wardrobe minus the stupid fingerless gloves and what not.
Those weren't gloves, he cut out a small part of the long sleeved shirt he was wearing underneath to fit his thumb through. A kid in my class does that to his shirts a lot.

I actually recognised ALOT from my life in (500) Days of Summer. Not exactly everything, but overall it felt like it could've or could happen in my life and the feelings JGL shows would be almost exactly like how I'd react/how I've reacted. So to me, they very much felt like real people. But that's just me.

Perhaps some feel the same way with how (500) Days of Summer went, but it felt like Webb just used different characters and used the same way with how JGL's character spoke to Zooey's for TAS-M. It's not that it was really bad, but that it didn't feel different. If that makes sense, lol.

I have seen too little of Fincher's work to make a statement about that, but I think he said something about wanting to show how Peter feels like an outsider with his powers or something like that.

Peter Parker always feels like an outsider, so I have no problem with Fincher's idea.

I never felt Webb tried to copy Batman. ASM and the Batman films don't give the same vibe at all to me.

I definitely do. But I've said this numerous times already. There's no need for me to get into this again, lol. I'd sound like a broken record :funny:

Again, when Peter talked/tried to talk to Gwen, I pretty much saw myself when I get into a situation where I talk to a girl I have a huge crush on. That was totally realistic for us shy-to-pretty-girls people. Yes, I am shy when I talk to the girl I really like :P I guess I'm not as cool as SpiderMarvelite :/

:lmao:

While I didn't find much of Peter's clothing any off at all, I do agree however that his sleeves with holes for his thumbs should go away.

Teh gloves!!!!!!!

The kid's a dick for ruining clothes his mother bought him :cmad:

I thought the sleeve holes/fingerless gloves were super clever to hide his web shooters!

I didnt dislike a single thing he wore in the movie, but I think the boxers showing in the school fight was a little 5 years ago.

Almost every guy in my school has their pants down all the way to their ankles. I'm not kidding. Even some girls tried it once.

I wouldn't mind if the girls wore their pants down to their ankles when I was in high school :funny:

if it gets pushed back to 2015 why not a winter release?thor2 is comming out november 2013 so why not big movies can work between thanksgiving and xmas and make tons of money.the bond films do well there i would like to see a winter comicbook release they dont all have to be summer.

Death by embarrassment.

I don't recall this...

Sorry to ruin it for you, but they were wearing basketball shorts under their pants. One can dream though...

What about BEFORE he has the webshooters?

he likes to wear his clothes that way, i´ve seen people wear sweaters that way the cut holes to use it like gloves ,maybe

Well, for one, imo, I thought the dialogue between Pete and Gwen was, well, cute. I hate to use that word because as a man, I probably shouldn't but that's how my wife described it and I think that fits perfectly.

I could be wrong about the clothes but I think they were going for this look.

I didn't mind his clothes, very nerdy and Peter Parker like. And the dialogue/relationship between Gwen and Peter was just perfectly done IMO.
