Get the Marvel Infinity Challenge Big Box Starter. It's your best bet, and I would have gotten it had I not gotten the regular starter before that was released. It comes with ten figures instead of eight, two double-sided maps instead of one, all the tokens and dice necessary, plus the figures inside are guaranteed to be certain characters. I know for sure you'll get an Experienced Spider-Man and a Rookie Wolverine, beyond that, I'm unsure. If you wanna collect DC, you'll have to get DC's starter as well, since DC pieces have a few powers Marvel didn't start with, requiring a few different tokens and such.

Oh, and don't forget the XPlosion Marvel set that was released today, unless you don't want guys like Apocalypse, Gambit, Iron Man, Beast, Colossus....

Hmm...interesting. I've been planning for some time now to get into Heroclix, but haven't done so, yet. This may convince me to go ahead and buy some.

It could played kind of like a "chess by mail" kind of thing. At least I think it might could, from what I know of how the game is played. Either that, or in real time via a chat room/instant messenger.

Okay, here's what I've got. The first key is to number and letter the boards in one uniform fashion, so that we've all got the same coordinates.

Then, we all have to agree on a set point limit. My sugestion is 500 points. And some house rules: All villains or all heroes. No in-between ground. You can mix and mingle in-between the collections, but not the affiliations. We also have to decide whether or not we want to allow the 3D objects on the board, as well as Scenario Cards. We also need to determine who would actually like to play. If we can get a good free-for-all game going (which could take several days), I'd start a thread over here that we could all post in.

Hey, im new here but not new to heroclix. I have been playing heroclix for a while and collecting them for even longer (honestly im not even really sure me and my friwends are playing the game really correct). Im not sure if thats allowed in tournys or not but thats how my friends and I play. I tried to do the same as with the above team, but with villians rather than heros. Red Skull will be the Avengers villian, Doom the FF's, Bullseye represents DD, Doc Ock for Spidey, Juggernaut for the Xmen and Abomination for the green skinned hulk.

I have a few more teams, I will maybe list them later but I try my best to keep a theme with the teams.
