i went to the mall yesterday and saw Galacuts heroclix exclusive in a store window so i walked up and saw the price tag with Silver sufer the better one $500 noooooooo thank you i dont know what the hell kind of crack that guy was smoking!!!

I've been looking for a heroclix thread. Glad i found it. I'll just throw some of my 2 cents in. This game is more addicting then heroin, my friend and I can't stop playing. I'm really looking forward to Mutant Mayham. My regular 300 point team is V. Firelord E. Dr. Fate V. Punisher and E. Paramedic.

Ech. I plan on trying to get my hands on Galactus at Wizard World Texas. Better to pay $75 than $500.

I have the Surfer, traded my Kara Zor-El to get him. He is so freaking beautiful, I swear. With the right backup, he's unstoppable.

And Eh. Firelord. Leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, mostly because he is the backbone of way too many teams. Firelord is somebody I'm just sick of seeing, becaue everybody who has one plays him ad nauseam. I kill him first chance I get, more often than not with the Veteran Dr. Doom.

Well the reason so many people use him is that his a great piece for his point value, his biggest weakness is after 3 clicks his defense drops to nothing. And if there is someone to take him out it is definately the V. Doom.

Oh, there are plenty of pieces to take him down good. I've used a combination of Mandroid Armor and Hercules to smash him to defenselessness, and Cyclops hits him hard too. Silver Surfer (non-Galactus) wails on him bad, and if Bullseye's got a good taxi, he can get a bunch of good solid hits on him too. Nightcrawler when used effectively causes him alot of problems, and when the Pounce feat card is released, Leap/Climb will mean a whole new world of hurt for Firelord shippers.

Did anyone see the new preview today... it's Cable.

Oh yes. Looks good. Wish they didn't call him Soldier X in Veteran.

Yeah looks like Cable going to be a fine addtion to any collection. I really hope they make some Inhumans in this set (mainly Black Bolt) and I would also love to get an Iron Fist.

I believe you are forgetting a figure by the name of Psylocke.

So, since I began playing this game I've been making some 3-d maps to go with it. This is a preview of my latest creation: The Batcave. I have the basic structure done. (Although I still need to add the ramps that connect the top and bottom levels) Now I just need to fill it with tables and more computers a training dummy, a giant penny. You know, the usual.

There are ramps that will be attatched to it. (The holes on the corners are where they will connect to the top)

Not to bad, I'm glad I'm finally getting a Deadpool, Havok, and Clock and Dagger. I still want an Iron Fist and some INhumans. Overall though I'd say pretty cool. Hey Cyclops since your like the only one that post on this regurly I was wondering what your normal team you play with was, if you don't mind?

I really don't have a normal team per se, but there are pieces I like to use alot.

I love using Minions of Doom, BPRD, and Spider-Man allies, especially when I can use Ultimates, Kabuki, Batman Allies, Mystics, Crossgens... Experienced Black Cat is a must.

But more often than not, I like to mix it up. Experiement. Make the rounds and see what I can come up with that'll work.

Thats cool, I like to do that myself sometimes while my friend won't play a team unless he made it in advance. I just recently switched out my V. Firelord in my team for my V. Ghost Rider. And the only piece I just about always put on my team is V. Punisher, gotta have my Frank.
