Well, anybody got a Thanos they're willing to part with?

Anyhoo... played in a tourney today... somebody took the Raven Darkholme just to spite me. Had to settle for an LE version of the Indy Scarab. I didn't want any Indy pieces.

Anyhoo, got my first few CM boosters today... Good stuff?

Veteran Spider-Man

Veteran Kraven
Adam Warlock
Silver Surfer (but his stats are Captain Marvel's... I have to mail him in for corrections)

Veteran Daredevil

Some good stuff.

Played some Warlock today... I'll tell you just how good he is.

First, he's REAL inexpensive for what he does. Only 61 points... and he gets you 12 flying speed to start with, 10 attack, 17 defense with toughness, 3 damage leadership, 8 range. You get Willpower and Outwit later down the dial.

But it's that 12 speed with flight that gets it. He's one great taxi who can hold his own when he needs to. Pair him up with somebody who can cause some serious damage and you have a killer combo.

How come no one complains about the heroclix Rhino being Ultimate, But the SMC figure being Ultimate getsa a lot of them??

Oh, I've complained about it, alright. And I complained about Green Goblin being Ultimate too. I just didn't complain about it here.

Man Critical Mass is soo cool. Me being a huge Cosmic fan this is my favorite set. Adam Warlock, Surfer, Dormammu....jeez....can anyone say...awesome. Just plain awesome. I'm gettin some boosters as soon as possible.

You haven't gotten any? I'll say it's a great set. I can't wait until they mail me my corrected Surfer.

I acquired Thanos today. Traded my spare Six-Arm Spidey and a slew of duples for him, but I got him. I'm only four away from completing Infinity Challenge: Rookie Daredevil, Experienced Controller, Unique Wolverine, and Unique Captain America, and Wolverine and Daredevil may be in my grasp soon.

What's wrong with the figures being Ultimate?

What's wrong is that the Ultimate versions are preceding the regular MU versions. Ultimate Green Goblin should never have predated regular Green Goblin, who has yet to be released. Ultimate Rhino should not be here instead of the real Rhino, etc.

Ultimate Spider-Man is forgiveable since there were several regular MU editions of him in the game already.

I have both of those they should be on E-Bay within a week. (It is a tough decision to get rid of them) I will let you know.

wow, can't believe i missed this thread. been playing heroclix for almost a year now. So far i'v bought about 9 packs of CM, and my only Unique was Terrax. No worries, i'm i the middle of a deal now, to trade him and a bunch of other nons from CM for a Nightcrawler. I hope the guy does it. I'll let you guys know.

You're gonna trade your only Unique away? Well... seeing as how it's Nightcrawler...

But grab as many Clobberin Time boxes as you can. There are more Uniques in the last few boxes as far as I've seen.

if you mean my only unique from CM than yes, but if not, i have more uniques to spare.

But hey, the CT packs around me cost 9.99 each. It's a heck of a lot of money on packs. Bu i might pick one or two up next paycheck.

Well, the reason, it seems, that Clobberin' Time has gone up in price, is that WizKids has sold out of their alotted supply and aren't producing any more. So if you want 'em, grab ;em up fast because they aren't going to be here much longer.

I've cleaned out several stores of CT packs and got amongst other pieces, Nick Fury, Nightcrawler, and two Spider-Mans. And I got the Enchantress in a trade.

They're good. I got quite a few good pieces, and I too, want almost all the uniques. Hulk (8 range, and all the other Hulk goodness along with Spider-Man team ability? Doesn't get much better than that) and Dormammu are tops on my list since I already have Silver Surfer (waiting for my corrected piece to arrive in the mail) and Adam Warlock (the only CM unique under 100 points, I believe). I also really want Ronin the Accuser, with his 4 damage and Force Blast power? That's some seriously killer stuff. And the Nova piece looks gorgeous.

My only disappointment in this set is that the stand-in for Rhino is the Ultimate Rhino. Oh well.

I almost picked up a couple of boxes the other day. But I swore off the clix, Man it is hard at first. I will still pick up andy rookie singles that I like. I only display them anyway.

I want all the Uniques of Cosmic characters. Which is most of them. I'm also trying to get nightmare and thanos

I got Veteran Ulik today.... and Veteran Archangel...... oh yeah.

I am, and it's why I haven't bought any boosters since Monday, when I got Rookie Moonstone, Experienced Nebula, Veteran Selene... and Nova, who's perhaps the best-looking Heroclix figurine ever. She's hot, both literally and figuratively.

I want Nova and Nebula...what local marque? I don't understand.

This weekend, all Heroclix tournaments will be Critical Mass Marquees, instead of playing with your own collection, you buy three CM boosters and build your team out of that, and compete for the new Critical Mass LEs like Sergei Kravinoff and Warren Worthington III.

Marquees rule. Except when my local Venue decides to change the rules. For the Critical Mass Marque this Sunday, they are doing a "Draft." Which means, we all buy 3 CM boosters, we open them up, pick 1 and pass the box to the player next to you, from there they pick a figure then they pass the box, and so on... We'll all end up with 12 figures. This "Drafting" scenerio is alot of fun when it's a normal tournament, but I think it's bulls**t to run it during a Marque. I would rather keep the 12 figures I get out of my boosters. So, rather than play at my local Venue, I'm taking a roady 90 miles away and playing at their Marque.
