Capcom Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Yea that looks pretty cool, but i would hope they would push the visuals a littler harder.

they'd optimize it for HD, something the Wii isnt capable of supporting. I have no doubt it'd look better on the 360/PS3

Using this engine, they would be able to do two things:

Put the game on the Wii without any major graphical changes, and it would look nice to boot.

Upgrade the engine a bit for the HD Twins version which would definitely end up looking sharper.

So it would be a win/win for those, no matter what console they own.

I hope the roster won't become infected with too much X-Love. I honestly don't want an entire 1/4-1/2 roster of X-Men/mutant characters (Honestly, give me Beast and mass murdering, KICK addicted Magneto/Xorn, and it'd be perfect). I'll keep my fingers crossed the Marvel side won't be just that and the usual non-Mutant suspects. Two or three alternatives from the same ol', same ol' would be nice. Nova, She-Hulk, Rocket Raccoon, Black Bolt, Iron Fist, something around those lines. I dare only dream of Franken-Castle, though.

That's a really nice roster and I'd like that too! Maybe change one or two heroes for some villains. I don't know exactly what villains I'd like but maybe someone like Dormammu and The Mandarin would be cool. Not sure what heroes I'd pick away though. Maybe Thing and Iceman. It's hard to chose!

It wasnt intentional. MvC was a cut and past job of all their Marvel games with a few more additions. The Xmen were the first game that Capcom did with the Marvel liscense so naturally they had more representation bc everyone from X-men Children of the Atom was thrown in. Only new additions to MvC2 were Cable and Marrow

I don't think we'll have to worry about it. When Capcom did Marvel games it was during the height of the X-Men's popularity what with the (great) cartoon & all, if anything we'll be over-populated with Avengers.... Which isn't a bad thing.

I'm sorry if you already knew this, but according to this Swedish news site for gamers, the boss at Marvel just twitted about arriving to Hawaii (didn't state why). And apparently, Capcom will tomorrow hold a mini-event called Captivate on that same place.

Just recently, the boss at Marvel twitted that he has just arrived at Hawaii. Something that is interesting, since it before has been in the air about Marvel vs. Capcom 3 about to be announced (which we have reported about already), and tomorrow, Capcom will hold a mini-event of their own called Captivate there at Hawaii. Marvel-bosses don't use to "twit" about their vacations and in connection to previous talks and the fact that he goes to the same place as Capcom right now will have their event, actually makes a reason to believe that something exciting is about to come.

Yeah, Zombie's kind of a weird one, but I don't think personality would be much of an issue in a fighting game unless they try to do an actual story mode, though that probably won't matter either since the story would suck ass, anyway. I'd probably put another Darkstalker character in its place as opposed to another RE character, since there's already two
