So, narrowing down that Wolverine, Ryu, and Chun Li would obligatorilly be there, my humble wish would be this:

Bring Back Rogue and Tron Bonne, add Phoenix Wright, Linn Kurosawa from the old AVP Beatemup, and make the Boss a Capcom character this time around. Hey, now that Disney bought Marvel, maybe they can get Fat Cat from Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers.

I assume we might know something whenever that conference in Hawaii that that Marvel Executive (or whatever that guy is from that post last page) was tweeting about is over. I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up.

No, there's no official word outside this guy who has leaked the information that it's happening and has been right in the past

I would however like them to keep Gambit in the game...I loved him. It's also about time Daredevil is added to one of these games, and maybe even Iron Fist.

Personaly i'd use Von Karma and not Wright. It's easier to make moves for her with her whip and all.


As for disney characters, sadly they can't.


Personally, i'm hoping for Ghost Rider and Dante. I'd love to team up Cage and Iron Fist too.

I'd rather they just update Jill (Whom I loved in MvC2) or use Chris rather than a monster from the series.

Or Use Wesker.

I can't believe it's been 10 years since I imported MvC2 on the Dreamcast and now we are finally getting a sequel.

I am very curious what direction this game will take in terms of visual style. I imagine it will be Tatsunoko or SF4 in the end. But on top of that which Marvel designs will they use. It is hard to see the current design of Magneto doing some MvC2 stuff since last I checked current Magneto actually looks like an old man instead of a buff guy with white hair.

I hope they get Cal Dodd back as Wolverine too. By far the best voice and his growl was pretty damn impressive.

Steve Blum FTW. I'm 99% sure Blum will get the role, he voices Wolverine in every thing non-movie related now... He even does the voice in 'Super Hero Squad'. Dodd's growl was better than Blum's, but Blum's over-all voice sounds more badass.

same here. Im glad Im not the only one, especially since it will most likely get a smaller roster. MvC2 was loads of fun but it did kinda get too hectic at times. I wouldnt mind a much more refined version of the 2 on 2 matches from the previous games. Xmen vs SF remains among my favorites

Agreed. The 3 on 3 got a little too insane at times. 2 on 2 provides enough excitement and is perfect for a crossover fighter such as this. I wish Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe had 2 on 2 combat personally.

Confirmed characters so far are Wolverine, Spider-Man, The Hulk, Magneto, Storm and a few others will return.

• The Marvel vs. Capcom 3 development team said they will be blowing fans out of the water with the sheer number of characters this game includes on the disc.

• This will be another 2D fighter — gameplay-wise — but will be something of a cross between the original Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Street Fighter 4.

• The rumored release date is late 2010 or early 2011 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, no plans right now for other systems.

• The game will run in 1080p resolution.

• It will be a disc-based release.

• Apparently the game will have unlockables again.

• Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be playable at this year's E3 which is held on June 15 - 17th.

most exciting things:there will be A LOT of characters apparently and the fighting system is a cross between mvc2 and sfiv; hopefully the game is a bit more balanced than 2 was.

I really hope the Marvel characters arent siimply their previous versions with prettier graphics. Some characters like Storm need an overhaul bc her moves sucked

I really hope they'll also change the roster up a lot. Now that they make a new game and have to start from scratch, we'll hopefully get less X-Men.
