Capcom Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Ok, another VS game by Capcom, another Mega Man representative. We got classic Mega Man in both MvC games, Tron Bonne joined the fray in MvC2, in Tatsunoko vs Capcom we had Mega Man from the Legends series, Roll (why?) and Zero from the X series. Who do you think we'll get in this game?

I really hope Mega Man X gets a chance to shine this time, even Mega Man.EXE made a fighting debut in Onimusha Blade Warriors. As a second I'd want Vile, but we might probably get Zero again.

That would be like them adding Hulk and Red Hulk in this as seperate characters and using speed and power to justify there existence. Very weak at best. I didnt mind the 2 Wolverines bc there were so many characters that it barely made much of a difference

yes no more than 2 people per franchise. SF might be the exception bc Ryu is in and looks like Chun Li. If theres a third, make it from SF 3 or 4

Much as I love the Tronster, I doubt she'll make it in again. The smaller roster probably means they'll focus more on the popular stars of franchises and, unfortunately, Tron is a B-lister in the Mega Man universe, at best.

Maybe we can still get some Servbots for assists, though. That would be sweet.

Oh, yeah, I have no doubt, but I was just answering Nathan's question. I find it doubtful we'll see her, but she's really the only Mega Man character I care about seeing. I mean Mega Man and Zero and the crew's cool and all, but I could take or leave them

If they originaly planned someone like Tyrant, then I think there's chance that Nemesis could be in it. He's even more popular, after all.

It's not that bad a list IMO. Just get rid of Emma and Shuma. Then pick either x23 or Elektra. I'd probably take X23 out of those two.

Well, the last two aren't really solid reasons why the list would be BS. There's no guarantee of any of the heroes you posted having a spot. In fact, Daredevil and the F4 have been excluded before, and maybe they just don't want to make the game a total X-wankfest and want to utilize other characters. I mean, that list already has like six X-Men (which is already way too damn many), adding more would with the last two would just suck

Even if X-23 is a literal clone of Wolverine, it's not unheard of for characters to be similar, but have a variation of sorts. Just like at Ryu and Ken, they are similar in move sets and how they play, but overall they're pretty different.

About the only one I agree with you, unfortunately, is the first one. I doubt Tron and Zero would get in over Mega Man.

I also doubt we'd get Juggernaut again. From what we've read so far, they are really looking for a varied roster and try to get characters that don't fulfill the same roles. And we already have Hulk.

its only scheduled for console release at this time. I doubt it will make it into arcades unless its Japan

thats what most people that dont read her books think but she's much more than a "femal Wolverine". But speaking from a gameplay standpoint, she would not play the same as him. His attacks would be mainly slashes and punches. She'd be faster, more agile and a mix of slashes and kicks. She has claws on her legs so that gives them an oppurtunity to give her special moves that they could not with him. I think people would be surprised at how different they'd play

As far as too much money not to be made in arcades, well arcades are all but dead at least in the US. They are VERY scarce and the money to be made is in the home consoles.
