Because ideally, especially with the company not being nearly as prosperous as it was in the 90's, putting their characters in a game with a currently hot franchise like Marvel or the MCU would be a good promotional stunt and potentially expose some of their characters to a wider audience, possibly even drumming up future interest.

the impression I got was that it's Ultron, but then the "middle set of eyes" throws me off.

Thats literally the case for every licensed product out there. Theres money to be made from game sales and DLC. They dont need their characters in there for that. If need be they could put in guest characters like WB does and Capcom has in the past

Yeah I'd prefer to just see a Marvel game without the Capcom characters.

X-Men:CotA and Marvel Super Heroes were fine without the random Capcom freaks.

Though, I'd miss the Street Fighter and Darkstalker characters.

It's Ultron merged with Sigma, much like how the boss at the end of Mortal Kombat vs. DC was Darkseid merged with Shao Khan.

I am totally fine with this but since when we got a console fighting game from Marvel? This could have been their Injustice or Mortal Kombat 2011 fighting game. I love Capcom too but I'd rather see a full Marvel fighting game first than this one.

That's what Contest of Champions is for. People have been waiting for a new MVC for a while.

You said fighting game, not RPG, so I wasnt referring to MuA2 which came out in 2009, not 2012. Marvel Avengers' Battle for Earth came out then

I overplayed Psylocke in MvC2 so much. so having her in this game would be lovely. But I don't think she will be in this. But I don't mind this being exclusive to mcu characters.

I wanted Psylocke in MvC3.

so yeah, I'll be disappointed if she's not in this one - but given the state of X-Men characters and how Marvel's been treating them, I'm not that optimistic.

on the plus side, I've got Captain Marvel right off the bat - who I also wanted in MvC3.

and she's blonde.

now.....if only they could add Cammy ( who was also missing from MvC3 )..........

Carol's face looks a lot better in-game, she doesn't look quite as much like a teenager. Though, it's odd she doesn't do the super-saiyan hair without donning her helmet. Same voice actors as the last game it seems, but Megaman X doesn't speak.

The characters have 2-3 super moves. Its possible that one of hers has the super saiyan hair

They must not remember MvC1 on PSX, we've come a looooong way. Even though those sprites were great.

I always loved the sprites, just something charming about em.

This game looks great though. Can't wait for more character reveals.
