Mass Effect 2

I have to wait til I get home from work :( but either way it updates in the evening hours for ps3

God! I have a thesis draft due on wednesday, and all my time will be spent trying to prevent the Reaper horde from arriving. OH WELL!!!:hehe:

I tried to go back to Mass Effect 1 and play it but I can't. ME2 improved on it too greatly that when you go back to ME1 it feels very clunky and outdated.

It was very tough to play through ME1 for my female renegade shep. But I wanted to see the the renegade ending, and I got it.
There is definitely a huge step from ME1 and ME2 when it comes to gameplay. On the 360, ME2 is considerably less laggy and buggy, and the aiming is MUCH more fine tuned.
The sort of thing is happening to me in Dragon Age: Origins now. Trying to finish with a mage, and I find myself, literally, falling asleep during combat.

and I just finished ME2 again and decided to put it down and move onto something new. Looks like that wont be happening...lol

And I recently purchased red dead redemption (I had borrowed it from a friend and beat it many times, but it's too good to not own) and just the other day crysis 2, and I have 2 tests to study for this week, great lol

I'm in the same boat as you guys...I have an essay due tomorrow, an essay to do on Wednesday, and two tests to study for on Thursday. Guess I'll just have to wait until Thursday evening to actually sit down and play :csad:

If it's only an hour long on Insanity I'm gonna be pissssed.

Is the Arrival the only dlc single player campaign for ME2?

I'm gonna postpone buying this until later on when I have the time.

How is crash site? Worth the money? Don't want another repeat of red dead undead, that game way too repetitive...

Normandy Crash site / Zaeed / Firewalker pack are all free with the Cerberus network which will cost you $10 if you don't have it already.

Then you've got Project Overlord and Kasumi for $7 each, along with Lair of the Shadow Broker for $10.

They're all worth it if you like the game.

I've never been a fan of rpg, no scratch that! I HATE RPGs??!! But ME2 finally a game of the rpg genre that makes everything right in story, gameplay, and action!!! Unfortunately I had this game since last year but only started playing in feb and man did I miss out! This was the goty for 2010 right behind red dead for me! I usually don't buy dlc never really saw the point(if u beat the game, to me its over) But I'm making an exception if its anything like the missions in ME2

Are these all single player missions? Cuz I really don't care about other features like mutliplayer or new weapons and powers since I only used the same gun the entire game lol

Yup, the missions are pretty cool. :D There's no multiplayer.

Are any of the weapon/armor packs really worth getting?

I only bought the Firepower pack and I'd recommend it, the assault rifle is a beast. The shotgun and pistol are pretty damn good too. Didn't really care for the other weapon/costume packs, I got the armor when they were all accidentally on the marketplace and they're not that great.

It helps that it doesnt play like an RPG. This feels very much more like a third person shooter with RPG elements

oh man that was way too hard to get through on Insanity lol I'll do it eventually, just not right now. I had to bump it down to Normal hahah.

It was pretty rad. Sneaking around was awesome, and I ain't gonna spoil the rest but it sets up the beginning of ME3 nicely if they decide to go that route.
