It's all good! Their shoddy work that didn't get their vision across granted them an opportunity to make what's there shine even brighter with this Extended Cut DLC! That they passionately worked on! Because they love the series so much!

lol really I don't think anyone should lose their job over this, but this isn't helping the BioWare brand at all. With Old Republic on the F2P horizon it looks like they're gonna be tossed into a mass grave alongside Bullfrog and Pandemic eventually.

Yup. I kind of wish they got picked up by Microsoft instead but that would have probably presented a whole other set of problems. The thing is EA suck at managing their s**t and talented people lose their jobs because of their crappy business practice.

Great to hear it's coming soon, although it sucks that the DLC is released a week later for the PS3 users in Europe down). But by then enough time has passed to know the general consensus on the DLC. I know I should let the content speak for itself but I'm prepared to be disappointed.

They're also apparently changing the EMS in some way so that you don't need to mess around with MP to get the EMS you need for the Shepard lives ending.

I'm definitely going to start a new playthrough this weekend and then stop when I get to the Cerberus assault and then just load in the new DLC and finish the game proper.

According to Merizan most of the new content starts kicking in around the run to the beam.

So it happens Tuesday? It's funny to think back a few months ago; I was so mad, frustrated, and disappointed by the ending that I just sort of...stopped caring about ME for a while.

And now? I don't care. Nothing they give us will change the fact that the ending wasn't the best. So again, who cares? The ME universe will forever be a special thing in pop culture. We'll bang, ok?

However, I am cautiously optimistic due to the Extended Cut's download size. 1.9 GBs? That's huge for an update.

I'm glad I popped in here, I had no idea the extended ending was coming out this soon.

Realistically all I wanted from this extended thing (because I knew they were never going to change the ghost kid or the RGB ending) was a kind of Animal House style ending telling what became of your squad and other important characters as well as the various races and factions based on your decisions. I'm pleased that it seems to be more than that, but I'm still going in with very low expectations. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Unless, of course, they plan on using this as an excuse for the inevitable extended cut backlash
