[BLACKOUT]they've had that since the beging of the first game their called amps.[/BLACKOUT] can't wait to check it out for my self then.I just finished watching Paragon Lost, and I gotta say I liked it.
It would have been nice to have the same voice-actors back in their small roles though. I wasn't a big fan of the animation style either.
A question though, [BLACKOUT]when did biotics need to have a power cell equipped in order to use their powers?[/BLACKOUT]
Also, I really liked the last 10 minutes or so, great stuff.
[BLACKOUT] from what they've push in the game it's dangerous for them too and they might end up worse theykadion in the First ME who stuck on L2 amps for bit and couldn't up grade L3. it just makes it easier for them to use it and stop them from have out of control issue likw when you mutants who can't conrtrole their powers in the xmen titles or shows that seem to copy that idea. They never really delved too heavy on that part though .[/BLACKOUT][BLACKOUT]Yes that I know, but they can still use their biotics without amps right? In the movie it almost seemed as though you couldn't do a thing without it.[/BLACKOUT]
I know humans need amps to use their biotics but I am not sure about Asari. They may just use amps to charge up their own power.Bio-amps allow biotics to synchronize the nodules so they can form fields large and strong enough for practical use.
I think Im gonna tackle an insanity run soon. What class do people recommend for this?
Yes but the humans get implants, inside your body, that's not what occured in the movie.
I used Sentinel in ME2. For continuity's sake, I think Id want my FemShep to stick with that. Would she be good with that?http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Bio-amps

Its not like 2 where using Adept on Insanity made for a way harder experience, all the classes are pretty powerful now. Granted, I'd still say Adept may have trouble when you have lots of turrets or shielded units on the field but other than that you should be okay.
I'll just throw Infiltrator out there since its always a pretty versatile class. You can hack turrets/synthetics and you've got stuff to deal with most threats in the game.
Weird, I wouldn't be surprised if there were inconsistencies all over the place given what it is. I remember the Plasma Cutter in the Dead Space anime being treated like a laser saw, that sounds a bit similar to that.

My first run is always good on any game but I let loose on subsequent onesI can never do renegade runs. I hate and rage a lot in real life, but deep down, I'm just too nice. I always feel dirty if I play a bad guy.
the only time had this problem is when I played fallout 3 . not so much with mass effect cause at least you can control how bad you want to be, with the latter to a degree and I had become used to that kind of system after fall out 3 started it all . and in the former the consequences/ out come were Heaveyer compared between fallout 3's and mass effect as series after you've done an action.Renegade runs are tough for me too as they're opposite my personality. However doing one allows me to see the other choices I'd never make in my regular run. It also changes the gameplay, and tactics I use so subsequent runs aren't identical to my first run.

I don't think I ever played the original endings as I'd already downloaded everything available by the time I got to that point. Someone told me about this before I'm sure but I can't really remember. What were the main differences? (tag it maybe)Finally finished my 2nd playthrough to see the extended cut endings, loved em. They fixed every issue i had with the original endings. Forgot how emotional this game could be. Hope thats something Bioware can reproduce if they ever make more ME games.

The only odd thing was that I don't remeber 2's skill point list under squad being so tiny, lol. Playing 1 with so many leveling up options, then go back to 2 and have like 4 skills to lvl up. Not that I'm knocking 2, it's still my fave ME.
