So are they saying you get access to DLC with the toys that you normally wouldn't get without a pre-order/new copy or are they talking about DLC unique to the purchase of the action figures themselves?

Because the former is not an issue and the latter totally is.

Commenter Chronicles points us to this listing on the BioWare Store site, which says the DLC "is slightly randomized during the registration and could include powerful new weapons and new characters." The DLC is only available for use on PC and Xbox 360 versions. Thanks, Adam!

If these new weapons and characters are only available through the DLC codes that come with the figures, then I'm going to be majorly pissed.

I am so glad that I have lost interest in the majority of DLC that comes out for games. Extra costumes and weapons don't do anything for me anymore.

At least with these you get a (hopefully well made) figure and bonus DLC, I think Gears 3 still holds the 'most outrageously dumb and overpriced DLC' award for that insane weapon skins pack.

What are the in-game weapons anyway? The only guns I've recognized from the past games is the M8 Avenger and Revenant.

hmm I'm not interested in those figures unless I know what those dlc weapons that come with the figures are and what they can do(they better really special). other wise their not nessary to get. Besides there's always a chance they'll set it up for later DLC regardless,(I mean BIoware) since this feels like that dr. pepper thing they did for ME2 like with that Incisor sniper rifle that came with The Aegis Pack .

so I'm not gonna be worried about this and I won't need or miss them. it feels like that deal with doctor pepper. they just want to sell those figures. those things will drop in cost and be available to every one later on bioware dlc page. ahhhh shameless EA.

Besides what's already in the pre-order and what you already have from ME 2. plus the new in game weapons you find and use in the game ME3 such as like like the new salarian pistol with Explosive sticky ball rounds.(which I assume is what your looking for). No. those are in game weapons as I just mentioned their just not putting too much heavy detail/ talk about them. But they already showed stuff like the Cerberus sentry(turret) and the pistol gun I just mentioned. So there is plenty of guns for you to still use and have fun with. EA is just trying to milk out extra cash with this DLC.

I'm opting out of this dlc as it's just for the multiplayer mode. They aren't really substantial to me.

I'm still holding out hope that "Commander Shepard" will be the end credits song in Mass Effect 3. Preferably if you get the "best" ending, whatever that may be.
