G'day,

My money is on a girl superhero. For one think you are looking at a 2017 release which is when WB/DC is supposed to have Wonder Woman. Marvel may very well want to upstage them. Personally I would love to see either a Black Widow or Captain Marvel movie.

Give Natasha Clint Barton and Bobbi Morse as supporting characters and you could have a great espionage movie. Let them bring out her comic book past, that she's much older then she looks, the Red Room etc. Then contrast her lack of relationships with the growing relationship between the other two.

With Carol I want top space opera! Kree/Skrull wars, rockets, rayguns the works. An exciting follow up to GOTG.

Exciting news! What dates are we predicting these dates for upcoming movies on the slate will be for? Here are my guesses:

MAY 2016: Captain America 3
JULY 2016: Doctor Strange
MAY 2017: Thor 3
JULY 2017: Solo Hulk film?
NOVEMBER 2017: Black Panther
JULY 2018: Guardians of the Galaxy 2
NOVEMBER 2018: The Inhumans
MAY 2019: Avengers 3

The two I'm least confident about here are the Hulk solo film and The Inhumans. I'm pretty certain Black Panther is a character Marvel will want to exploit - the whole Wakanda mythos is a pretty cool area of the Marvel Universe not widely known, and Black Panther has enjoyed a raised profile in the comics lately - but I was torn between The Inhumans and the Carol Danvers Captain Marvel in deciding what the other new propoerty was likely to be. I ended up going with The Inhumans, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it go the other way. Solo Hulk film I'm least certain about. We've heard it as a maybe for a while, but never with any real traction behind it. But I'm thinking that, with Avengers 2 in 2015, 4 years could be a long time to wait to see Hulk and Iron Man again if Avengers 3 hits in 2019, so a Hulk movie (with a guest appearance from Bruce Banner's science bro Tony Stark) in 2017 could serve to bridge the gap. I originally had Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in for that July 2017 spot, but if I'm correct in Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet being set up for Avengers 3, then it'd make sense for a Guardians movie to serve as a lead-in to that on the year before.

Ant-Man is already attached to a release date, so it's not one of the mystery dates. If you factor in Cap 3, Thor 3, Dr Strange, and Avengers 3, we have 4 mystery movies.

I'm hoping for Guardians&Hulk, Captain Marvel(Danvers), Black Panther, and Black Widow.

I know most laugh about EM's rep around here, but lately he's been more right than not.

I'm choosing to believe that BP is one of the movies getting announced.

If, IF there's not a Ms. Marvel/Cap. Marvel movie announced yet, I would love for them to do an Inhumans movie… with a female lead. Kamala Khan, perhaps?

BW & Hawkeye would be cool, even if starring Widow as the primary character. I don't really want a strictly solo Widow film (don't want a solo Hawkeye either).

I really hope we don't get an Inhumans movie until atleast Phase 4. I know Marvel has been pushing the characters alot, but outside of Black Bolt, Medusa & Lockjaw they're SO BORING! The Inhumans work better as supporting characters than as main characters.

Plus, Marvel is only pushing the Inhumans because they can't use the X-Men in the movies; but what's the point of having a fake X-Men if you can't use what truly makes the X-Men popular, the roster of characters.

You think they would go for Kamala if they made a solo Ms Marvel film? Not sure as she's so new (although it would be interesting) and I guess most would want the classic Danvers. Rambeau could be in with a shout too.

Avengers 3 and Thor 3 are guarantees. That leaves 4 spots. GOTG 2 will probably be one. The other 3 I'm guessing will be three of the following:

Inhumans
Ms. Marvel
Black Panther
Hulk 2
Black Widow solo.

I hope its the top 3. Just give me Panther Marvel
