I wonder how long it took Brolin in that Infinity Gauntlet clip?

he probably did it at comic-con

If I may share my sentimental feelings...Even though not like everyone in this forum, and from where I came from, I hadn't grew up with these character as a child. I started into MCU in 2010, but even as a young fan I can say that MCU has changed me since. I feel like I grew up along with these characters in the past 4 years. So, given said that..I've thinking, when it all said & done in 2019 ....when I will be 32 by the time and perhaps I already got married by then...and I'm looking back at this Mega Marvel Phase from Phase 1-2-3..."What would I think of this phase of my life?" I'm sure it will be a great journey not just for Marvel Studios, but also for my life as well...So excited!

^ that summarized of my thoughts and feelings that Marvel Studios has changed my life ..and I'll always be remembering this phase of my life when it's all over in 2019. So sorry for sentimental feelings..can't help but to think if it :) Anyway I'm looking forward most for Thor: Ragnarok & Captain America: Civil War...and most curious by Inhumans

Universal did it. Not on this scale, but they were crossing over their monster movies all the time.

As I said we might have had a crossover in films. But the individual films were never planned out to be a part of one story. Or what happened on one film would effect others and tv shows.

WB and Fox are now trying to copy this model. As is Star Wars. To say that Marvel hasn't done anything to further cinema is a little unfair.

So if Loki's Staff is an Infinity Stone and Thanos's great obsession is to collect all of the Infinity Stones, why in hell would he hand it over to someone else?

Risking one to get another? I don't know, seems like a plot hole to some extent.

Seems like we need to know the extent of what everything before jumping to conclusions.

What a miserable, joyless article.
"People are having fun and being excited? Yeah, we'll adjust that."
Yeah, the whole thing is basically..

Marvel didn't actually DO anything today!
These movies don't actually exist yet, so who gives a s***?
All these sound stupid. F*** Doctor Strange. F*** The Inhumans. F*** Guardians of the Galaxy. F*** you too, Green Lantern.
Crossovers suck
(Huge :whatever: from me)
These movies are too big!
Doing Black Panther like a Marvel movie is WRONG!
Yeah yeah yeah, black hero. Yeah yeah yeah, female lead. But where's a gay hero? We're not complaining! Just kidding, yes we are.
Black Widow? Who needs a Black Widow solo? She's s*** compared to the comic.
This one comic I'm reading is better than anything Marvel Studios is doing, so f*** them.
:o

Here's a minor but interesting question. Does Marvel Studios even need comiccon anymore? They just announced this event over the weekend, had tickets sold out in a matter of hours, and had people camped out outside the Capitan at 3 am on a freaking monday night. And they've dominated the movie news cycle and every social media platform all day.

I think from here on out they are just going to do Apple-like events like this. Its probably cheaper, and all the attention is focused on them and fans can just buy tickets and not have to face the hassle of comic con

Frankly, Marvel has outgrown ComicCon. They don't need it as a showcase anymore, and don't need to share the spotlight with every other media conglomerate and wannabe under the sun. The studio can hold its own events and dominate an entire news cycles with its own announcements, undiluted by any extraneous distractions from other companies.

This is all win for Marvel. Kevin Feige is one helluva showman.

Depends on you're definition.

I will say this and it's something I hadn't considered until today, and that is that Marvel may have very well redefined the movie trilogy.

I think this is definitely a sign of how marvel will operate from now on.

their comic con announcements will still be big but I think the really huge news will be saved for their own apple style events

Between the Box-Office, toys, endorsements and all other branding money that Disney is going to make off the MCU, they really should just throw 2 Billion at Sony and just buy Spidey outright.

2 Billion?
With the position Sony are in,they could get him for 500 Mil if they negotiated well

One month. Infinity War Part 2 on May 3rd and JL Part 2 on June 14th.

It's gonna be insane.
Ah damn that's not enough of a gap. I won't be done with IW II rewatches by then. 2 of the biggest films ever (for me) so close together sucks.

I agree. They are going to have to retire Stark/Rogers/Thor for some time. But anything else is up for grabs in PIV. I think they will be looking at Kree Skrulls to kick it off. It will be mostly cosmic I think. Think Defenders.

Hulk will be recast if need be because I don't think any Phase can be completely without Hulk. They can move forward with a Planet Hulk movie.

They are going to get SS and Galactus back in this thing eventually. I think it happens by 2022 if not sooner, going into the heart of Phase IV-VI.

Look for the cosmic universe and full blown Star Wars effect in Mega Phase II.
I don't know if Hulk will necessarily need to be recast. I think there's a chance Ruffalo might want to carry on and I doubt he'd be asking for RDJ money. Getting F4 back (if) will really give them a lot of other things they can use.

The end of Phase 3 ('Mega-Phase 1') will be a good time to catch our breath lol.

Nevermind buying Spidey back, that ship is sinking on it's own.

What needs to be bought back is the F4. I just don't know how much the greedy execs at Fox would try to sell it for, even if their reboot underperformed.

I would still think he didnt see giving a Mind gem to an Asgardian with magical powers, with an alien race at his call to face a bunch of humans that presumably Loki told him were useless and would 'kneel' to him easily as a risk.

Plus he probably is fine with knowing where each of the gem are at this point. I doubt he particularly cares that the humans have a gem, his main priority is gonna be the cube i reckon so then he can travel quickly to all the other gems.

So when Fury said that the staff was powered by the Tesseract that was a continuity error or perhaps just the character making a false presumption?

I dunno, but I honestly don't think if the scepter is the mind gem then it is a retcon or anything if it is the mind gem then it was meant to be from the start, and so what ever any character said about it was a mistake on their part not an error in writing.

Not saying the scepter is definitely the mind gem, but it being shown in that Infinity War build up footage would i think suggest it is.

Feige has said there are plans for Ant-Man post solo film (i.e probably joining one of the Avengers teams).

Yeah, that would make the most sense. Plus there's no point in scheduling a sequel when they don't know how the first one has turned out and what kind of reception it'll get. If it's a hit, I think we can definitely expect a sequel in 2020 along with appearances in the other movies.

Whatever the case may be it's an unbelievable time to have grown up a Marvel fan.

Just scares me I was 24 when I got on this ride and will be 35 by the end of Phase 3.

On the one hand you want time to fly so you can relish the next chapter but on the other you realize you're just that much older.

So when Fury said that the staff was powered by the Tesseract that was a continuity error or perhaps just the character making a false presumption?

Actually, it was perfectly logical and explainable. The gems powers are heightened when they are closest together and having more than one helps find others, so I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the mind gem was more active around the Space gem (Feige confirmed as the Tesseract).

Guessing Warlock will have to figure heavily into GotG2 for the soul gem.

Expect so. Now that the intro film is done GotG 2 can really go in depth into all the cosmic stuff.
