Which non-Avengers films should Black Widow, Hawkeye and the twins show up in?

How do we know Ant-Man is not some sort of an epilogue to Age of Ultron? It was always fishy to me as to why it followed so closely on the heels of the film featuring a major part of the very same comic character's mythos.

Widow and Hawkeye wuill no doubt be in Civil War.

The twins. Either Civil War or Inhumans is my guess.

Which is kind of what I'm looking forward too.

Hauntingly ugly and weird, but beautiful at the same time.
When I say ugly, I mean people are gonna get fired because the film will look like it was shot in the 1920s. :woot:

I don't think they will wait that long for it. Also, the Guardians will need a reason to come to Earth in Infinity War. What better way to learn about the Tesseract, Thanos, Chitauri, etc from Earth. Having the Hulk reveal that A - gets them involved in the story, B - Gets Hulk back on Earth. It is win-win.

Valid points and I could see something like that happening but I just have a feeling that it would be GotG 3 for PH. They need time to develop Hulk as more than a brute which I'm sure they plan on doing during phase 3. If we all the sudden have a coherent and talking Hulk by 2017 it's not going to make a ton of sense unless he is heavily utilized in CA:CW which could be the case. I just think Hulk will slowly be shown as more intelligent than the current iteration and it will be far less jarring if they spread that out over a few films

I don't know what you were looking at when you saw Guardians, but I didn't see any of that I'm afraid.

I think they mentioned that CW was phase 3..?
Which means they changed it, because forever and a day Ant-Man was the start of Phase 3. Afterall, every phase is suppose to end with the Avengers.

But considering Ant-Man almost seems to be an outlier now, they are perhaps starting Phase 3 with the beginning of Cap's/the Avengers tale and ending it with it.

By the way, I'm not disappointed in the announcements...I'm just saying that Ant Man is being overlooked. Ant Man is my least anticipated Marvel Studios movie ever, so it isn't a huge deal to me.

I'm cool with Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel but they absolutely have to introduce Mar-Vell of the Kree in the film as well. I will be very disappointed if they gloss over the very important part of Marvel lore.
Honestly, with Captain Marvel's placement in between the two Infinity War installments, it wouldn't surprise me if Mar-Vell was a significant part in Infinity War: Part 1 and most of Carol's origin story plays out in that film. That way the Captain Marvel film wouldn't technically be an origin story (if Marvel's "no more origins" mantra turns out to be true).

I think there's a reason they aren't calling the Avengers movies Infinity Gauntlet - there are going to be plenty of added elements to the MCU version (like the Guardians, Kree, Inhumans) that weren't significant in that story, imo.

Guardians looks pretty darn good, digital problems aside. But it isn't exactly 2001 or Skyfall. A film that looks "half" that quality, would be pretty flippin' choppy.

Look for DC to counter this announcement with... some more Batman and Superman. :oldrazz:

Would be a great way to keep Pym around and give him something to do that has meat in the MCU. He could basically take Tony's role in CW but by the end of it he is mostly on board with the whole superhero thing

I think it would a good use for the character. You could also get some drama out of his former mentee Lang and daughter Hope joins the anti-regulation side.

I'll take a smaller role in the 1st team film for the amount of man-of-the-match / MVP moments he had in that film, although hopefully he gets more in AoU ((& I think he does). I bet he's a lot of the GA's favourite after that. And we weren't even guaranteed to get Hulk in an Avengers film, but after that performance they will disappoint a lot of regular guys if they ever drop him. If they start using stories that don't have him getting chased around they'll realise there's tonnes of good material they could use to make Hulk one of their leading solo characters as well as team superstars. But I do think doing a good Hulk film takes more skill than doing a good Cap or Iron Man.

Well thats the puzzling thing, Hulk became more popular after A1, will be even more so after A2, and yet they still arent giving him a solo movie? I do agree a good Hulk movie is harder to do than for Cap or IM, but if they pull GOTG off, which they did superbly, they can pull a good Hulk movie IMO.

If they've proven anything, it's that they're good at spinning a lot of plates at once. Ant-man might not be getting a lot of the spotlight right now but I'm sure that will change soon.

My order of excitement!
Avengers: Infinity War
Captain America: Civil War
Thor: Ragnerok
Black Panther
Captain Marvel
Inhumans
GOTG 2 (fricking hate the logo)
Doctor Strange

I think Black Widow and Hawkeye should play a big part in the Civil War and show up in any films that focus on it. They'll likely be more central to it than Thor, SW, QS, Vision and anyone new.
