Marvel really has their stuff together. Obvious of course but, yeah. Even if some of their slated movies are busts or lackluster, at least you get the feeling that the people behind the scenes have had a lot of things planned out years ago and are now making serious steps in implementing their plans. There's a level of foreknowledge that should be refreshing for the marvel fanbase.

As much as it sucks to say i think hulk will get his next big shot after phase 3, likely when Ruffalo has aged out of the role. I think the same about IM4 and RDJ

I don't think Ruffalos age is that important for a Hulk movie. There are several stories in the books about an older Hulk they could adapt

Im thinking more along the lines of Ruffalo wanting to move on, we've already heard him say he didnt know how an audience would respond to older guy being in the role. I kinda see him saying he may just be getting too old. Same thing downey was saying not long ago. If it were up to me, I'd keep him but even im not sure how I'd feel about a much older looking banner.

If Iron Man is showing up in Captain America for Civil War, how would people feel about Ruffalo showing up in Dr. Strange, looking for a non-scientific means to control or remove his condition?

^ Was listening to that this morning, can't wait to finish it.

Anybody have some good podcasts about the MCU you could recommend?

There's a good one with Kevin Smith and Joe Quesada on his Fatman on Batman podcast where they just gush over Marvel studios and Cap 2 in particular. It's a good listen. Not sure what episode number though.

Just want Marvel to change dates for Panther. Its without a doubt the most interesting of the new MCU movie .But to go against Justice League is suicide! Thor Raganarok could stand against Justice League. Not Panther

Are we not getting what we want, I didn't realise :whatever:

Maybe Hulk solo instead of Inhumans is the only thing that I maybe would consider changing but wouldn't.
The Independent is juts like The Onion, it's humor.

This has been a slow news week. There's been nothing at all for the past day. :( :p

Seriously Kevin Feige has sure learned a lot back from his days when he was co-producer with Avi Arad with (X-Men), (Spider-Man) & (Blade) etc… Now Marvel Studios is not only the Lucasfilms type studio but this whole MCU film verse is now a major corporation with Disney.

The Marvel Universe might even be competing with the original Star Wars films in impact after the post IW2 plans start rolling out. Overseas at least if not domestically. Which shows how much impact Star Wars had as it did all its work with just 3 films rather than 20.

They really did something special and unique when they started the MCU.

I don't hate DC...I mean, I love Batman...but I don't think DC is going to be able to capture the magic of the MCU.

I think Marvel should've also branched out into music a bit more and signed singers to sing title songs or end credit songs a bit like it's a big thing for the Bond franchise. That's always a thing to speculate on: who will sing the next Bond theme. We could've speculated on who will sing the next MCU theme.

I'm fine with a no Hulk solo film for now. For me, he was done his absolute best in the Avengers, none of the movies came close to how awesome he was in that movie. Let other characters have their time to shine, let the Hulk keep rocking the ensemble films.

I considered that too. But I don't know...I kinda of like how they do the intros now to be honest. They really help with the whole one universe vibe.
