What happened to the screen rotation at the end? Suddenly the footage went on its side.

Great that Melissa got to see the real Carole. Do we know if she just climbed up on stage without warning? Did security know she was in the audience? Was it pre-planned that she'd come up on stage? Otherwise that could've been anyone who went up there.

It looked like she came from backstage....she couldn't have been in the first few rows of the audience because Melissa would have seen her. I'm sure stage production knew she was coming.

Here DR from this video you can see that Carole King walked on from the wings. Melissa’s initial reaction is priceless. I’m sure security knew Carole was there and it’s possible that some of the other cast who’ve already met her did too. I know for sure Melissa didn’t.

Jesse L. Martin had a distinguished acting career long before The Flash, and I don't see that changing when the show ends.

Yes, it looks like it says 'Free'. The thing above it looks to me like it might be a feather or maybe a leaf. I'm not a tattoo fan but she does look lovely and that pic is my favourite

She's basically one of many. I think she was the 4th person to play it on Broadway, and they usually don't release albums outside of the original casts. Jessie Mueller originated the role on Broadway (and won a Tony for it), so the only album released for the show has been the one with her.

Damn Jessie Mueller for being part of so many original cast recordings and hogging the albums! She did that for Waitress as well, instead of getting a cast album with Sara Bareilles who took over the part later on for 2 brief stints even though she's the song writer.

Admittedly though, people who've taken over the role from her later on have had better voices. Melissa sounds better than her, and so does Sara Bareilles, who should know her own songs and how to interpret them better than anyone else.

I didn't know she had any Native American heritage. She doesn't really look like it at all.

I'll tell you though, some of the pics on this page make me think she'd be absolutely great as either a big screen version of the Bionic Woman or even a small screen reboot. That is, a traditional Bionic Woman in the mould of Lindsay Wagner, not that Michelle Ryan angry version from a few years ago.

I wonder how many North Americans can trace back to at least some NA heritage? I know I have a little Blackfoot, but it doesn't show at all.

And I've agreed before, Bionic Woman would be a cinch for Melissa!
