COD needs to take a year out, re-evaluate itself, take a good long look at all three modes, look at fan feedback (not fanboy feedback) and then come back with a biannual rebooted franchise.

I know I'm going to sound like a hater here but I'll say it anyway...

I came home and my brother was playing CoD. This CoD. I didn't know he was getting the game so for 6 hours I watched him play MW3 and the entire time I thought it was 2. Nothing looked different. The HUD, the visuals, the guns. All the same. Granted, I wasn't paying a lot of attention, but c'mon. They couldn't make the game look any different?

It'll be that rumored COD that Treyarch has been working on for a bit now.

That other game Sledgehammer was working on was put on hold/cancelled by Activision because they had to work on MW3 so its most likely the next Treyarch COD.

Once you start playing, you realize right away that its a much different game. The visuals are definitely better, not extraordonarily better but better. The biggest revamp is definitely the sound. Every gun sounds different and sounds fantastic

So it turns out my brother went and got this today. Now I won't feel so guilty playing it tomorrow when Gamefly sends it. I didn't want to mention it because I knew him and my nephew would hijack my PS3 when he comes to pick up his kids.

eh so i have a screen that is showing call of duty elite, but it says "logging in..." and nothing happens then it says "not available at this time"

Can someone please detail me what this elite is about?
