Movie Stuff You Only Now Just Realized - Part 2

To be fair, the way it was delivered in that movie was entirely different from the way Joss Whedon intended it to be delivered, so that's part of the reason why it sound so bad.

Yeah, the line was destined to become an all-time classic comedy piece.

not about a movie exactly... but about a movie trailer

in an early version of the trailer for "the 5 year engagement" I noticed that when the little girl shots the crossbow she yelled "I'm Pocahontas"

but then in the newer trailers she yells "I'm Katniss"

In their defense they don't even know who he is because Ethan walks right past him later on. I can't believe I saw that movie 3 times in theatres and didn't notice.

I just finished watching it and didn't notice.

Most of the people that starred in Armegeddon have been in some sort of comic book movie.

Scarface and The Godfather Part II both open with an immigrant who will become a large criminal figure going through the Port Authority.

Saw a really obscure horror movie on HBO called Monkey Shines that came out in 1988 and was surprised at seeing early acting appearances from Stanley Tucci (with hair!), Janine Turner and Stephen Root.

Speaking of Stanley Tucci, both he and Oliver Platt both had small roles as dognappers in Beethoven.

Something I just thought of:

When Sam Raimi was still on board to do Spider-Man 4, he had cast Ben Kingsley as Vulture and Anne Hathaway as Black Cat. We all know what happened to Spider-Man 4, but Hathaway and Kingsley would go on to play villains in other superhero films (Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises, Kingsley in Iron Man 3). I feel like they upgraded in a major way. I loved Raimi's Spider-Man films but honestly, how good would the fourth one have been with Vulture as the main villain?

it was John Malkovitch that was cast as Vulture

Ah, you're right. Raimi originally wanted Kingsley to play the Vulture in Spider-Man 3 before the character was replaced by Venom.

More of a tv thing, but Billy West (the voice of Fry on Futurama) also does the voice of the red M&M guy

and JK Simmons is the yellow one i always thought it was John Goodman :p.

Simmons also provides the voice of the yellow M&M in the product's commercials, as well as the 3-D film "I Lost My M in Vegas" playing at M&M's World in Las Vegas

according to another site the ORIGINAL voices for them were Jon Lovitz (red) and John Goodman (yellow) so there ya go ;).

The TV commentators for the Hunger Games played opposing scientists in Captain America ie. one gave Cap the serum, the other worked for the Red Skull.

it was John Malkovitch that was cast as Vulture

Not only that, but Malkovitch was who Raimi asked first to play the Green Goblin, and he knocked it back, so he must have been kicking himself afterwards if he wanted to play Vulture.

Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine is one of the terrorist soldiers in Iron Man.

Tom Hardy was one of the main characters in Black Hawk Down…

It was on tv last night and it caught me off guard.

Most of the people that starred in Armegeddon have been in some sort of comic book movie.

most of the cast have worked together in other films as different characters (not always sharing the screen tho)

Mike Clark Duncan and Bruce Willis were in Whole Nine Yards and Sin City
Afflek and Tyler were in Jersey Girl
Willis and Thorten were in Bandits

there MAY be more but those were the only ones I could think of off the top of my head ;).
