The whole point of Weapon X in the comics and stuff is that, HE is the killing machine...Origins really screwed that up.

It's even more frustrating when you see his Weapon X helmet during the scene when he finds out Kayla is still alive. Dammit, how did they remember to include that, but not show him using it? :argh:

well good because I was starting to feel like a minority. I'm not going to argue that Origins is any sort of masterpiece but I found it very entertaining, especially Gambit. :)

I like it better than X3...probably because of the view. :oldrazz:

....I thought the helicopter scene was sorta cool. And the only "good" Deadpool scene was pretty awesome....

Anywho, as painful as it is, I'm sort of glad they're keeping everything so secret. It will be nice to walk in to the cinema with little clue of what's going on.

Eh that helicopter scene still makes me cringe.

I've no idea what the plot is for this movie so im glad that they're keeping it tight lip about it. So i'll go see it.

I think it will always be a too early for that character.

seriously, f*** Daken
worst character ever.

Aw, I like Daken. He's like Batman's Damien, lol. Kid ya love to hate. :p

No i just hate-hate him

Stupid floppy, poofy mohawk (why can't comic artists draw a normal mohawk?) and his lame little wrist claw
Hell, I liked some of the children Logan killed over him

X-23 is the only legacy character I accept
Wolverine's the "cool, badass anti-hero", making daken just a more "xtreeeeme" version of the same idea
I've heard it said there's "no bad characters", but Daken makes me completely disagree

I even hate the way they pronounce his name..

if Wolverine is killed off and his son replaces him, I may have to stop reading any books featuring the character

Daken is annoying and too gimmicky, but a large part of me wants to see him turned into a good character. Not a good guy, I mean written good and not just some 'edgy' Wolverine wannabe or whatever the hell his creators deluded themselves into thinking they were making. I think there's potential for a good character, but they need to get past all the gimmicks that hold him back.

Though he's one of the last people I'd want in a Wolverine film. Maybe wait for Wolverine 4 or 5. lol

The thing I don't get about it is, I remember someone describing Daken as "Wolverine without any morals." And I just went..."okay...so he's Sabretooth?" So I had a hard time understanding the need for a character like that when we've had Sabretooth for the past 40 years and he's done just fine.

X-23, Daken......**** all 'em.

Eh, kinda sorta. They have different personalities though. I think Sabretooth is underutilised a lot and Daken doesn't really have a purpose all of his own. I think that some of the things you see Daken doing could have been better suited to Sabretooth and they should have found a new purpose for Daken. If Marvel do bring him back and are wanting to kill off Wolverine in the comics for a bit and considering resurrecting Daken, then I'd like to see them try to do something new with him and not have him revert to his old gimmick-ridden ways or just act as a Wolverine stand-in.

I don't think they'd ever risk killing of Wolverine. If they did, I actually think they'd replace him with X23 or maybe even Jimmy (that's the Ultimates one right? I don't read Ultimates).

Well that's what some sights are reporting. They say Marvel are considering killing him off since his popularity has taken a knock.

Ultimates is a different universe, so they would have to invent a 616 Jimmy if they wanted to replace Wolverine with him.

I wouldn't be surprised if they killed off Wolverine in the comics, I would be surprised if it lasted that long, especially with the new movie coming out. Mind you, Bruce Wayne was "dead" in the comics when the Dark Knight came out I think.

I'd rather they kept Daken, Romulus and the rest of Daniel Way and Jeph Loeb's nonsense out of the films.

X23 is awesome! Whats not to like about that character? The film Hanna always reminds me of her.

Not really a fan of Daken though, but he was decent in UXF. If they ever did something similar to his conclusion in that book id def support the decision to throw him in a film. Some heavy ****. Although hed probably only work in some alt reality.

Despite some feeling it hurt Wolverine's uniqueness I liked X23 as well, I think it actually provided a good arc for Logan as he tried to help a younger person cope with what he'd been through, something he never really had.

I don't mind X-23. I think she's different enough from Wolverine that it's alright. She's her own character.
