So Viper will have her teleportation ring? Or will she be changed to a mutant with teleportation ability?

My guess is she'll be be changed to a teleporting mutant. A teleportation ring would seem a bit too sci-fi for the X-Men films so far and especially for a film that's meant to be more grounded. Similar to what they did with Dead-Pool, he had a teleportation device in the comics but it was a mutant ability in Origins.

This movie is gong to be so badass. I can't wait for the trailer. Buddies we be seen a much better Wolverine then last time.
I wish Marvel would get the rights back to the Wolverine.

Ugh @ the Viper backstage picture. It doesn't even look like it was taken on the set.

And about the teleportation ring, I think Silver Samurai should have that ability because its one of his abilities in the comics.

Well they probally want to give a reason for her to be In film.Besides her ties to the
Silver samurai.In early version of script she was secretary to japanase official spying for shingen but having affair with silver samurai who her true allegiance was with.

The Teaser comes out on that date, yes. It will be about 2 minutes. The trailer (longer) will follow after that.

Anybody remember that feeling when Wolverine went berserk in the kitchen scene in X2? That was awesome. I hope The Wolverine can tap into that primal rage/instinct without overdoing it or making it cheesy (something I felt Origins: Wolverine did).

I guess that can't be the case anymore. There's Silver Samurai for sure and apparently his as yet unnamed mutant mother who may or may not appear I suppose, and potentially Viper could be a mutant too.

Edit: I've just realised I misread the article. Silver Samurai's mother wont be a mutant or be in the film. A case where an Oxford comma would've been useful!

I think the 'Wolverine being the only mutant' in the film was before Mangold came on board.

agrees... not to mention but the only redeeming things about X3 was the fight scenes... something singer never handled right.

really? i don't remember anything in X3 that was better then anything singer did, infact in the final battle in X3 we just got glimpses of colossus fighting, a few shots of beast jumping about and wolverine swinging his claws about

while the kitty/juggernaut chase could be on par with Nightcrawler in the white house if you wanted to be generous to X3, and the iceman/pyro fight wasn't all that, only thing that made it cool was that he went into ice form

while the wolverine in the woods fighting was about the same if not done better in the mansion stuff in X2, and wolverine/juggernaut one on one was about the same as any fight wolverine has had one on one with in previous Xmen films

but if you mean the end where they have that moment where they all work together... briefly.. something like that written into the script is something brian could do easy
