Apocalypse Nightcrawler in the Apocalypse Movie - Part 1

Did you watch begin of First Class (1944), and did you had math?
Mystique in 1983 is about 45-50 years old.
Nightcrawler is no more than 20, if Azazel is father.

And Mystique can look any age she wants, anyway. Her appearance is a moot point.

He looks really good in the pics!

Yes I'm so excited to see him on the big screen again he's one of my fav characters and Kodi seems to really enjoy the character. I cannot wait to see him and Mystique together.

Kodi might give a better version of the character than in the older films, more depth, not annoyingly comic relief-y. I have a good feeling about this. Hope I'm not proven wrong.

Those look a lot like his X2 eyes, which were yellow in direct light.

Shame they couldn't at least incorporate his colour scheme into his costume. Even by the previous movies standard it would seem like the easiest costume to adapt to film.

Well for the Most part it seems, like they are incorporating the red, black and yellow color scheme in his civilian clothing, more blatantly than the X2 Nightcrawler clothes had.

- The first released photo of Nightcrawler had a lot of red and black to it (which I initially thought looked like a perfect mix of X2 look with the classic Nightcrawler colors.)

so much so that it almost reminded me of the X-Men Official Game look for Nightcrawler, when I first saw it:

- set photos that had him in the Thriller Jacket

- the EW photo had him with the red jacket and yellow

So I think maybe if/when they do the actual X-Men costumes at the end like everyone suspects, he wears a more red, black and yellow color scheme.

I feel his civilian wear is very X-Men Evolution-esque.

Its the casual wear which i think singer will give out hints to their comic outfits, probably not what people want but probably is the case

Now they've done all the blue people (though they opted to make Archangel a white skin colour), do you think they'll next move on to the green people, lol?

Polaris, Sauron, Mesmero and Leech...

Offhand, I wonder how they would approach Sauron in the films. I have trouble picturing a Pterodactyl headed villain translating onto the big screen. Plus we've already seen Leech, who was still largely human looking and they just made him look completely normal.

Sauron would have to be CGI when in the pterodactyl form.

Yes, we've already seen Leech, though you can also say that about Angel, Jubilee, etc... I wondered if that green containment cell we saw in the Apocalypse stills is supposed to be some sort of de-powering chamber?

Most of the villains who ain't humanoid will be made humanoid I am sure

I'm still curious to know why Kodi Smit-McPhee was assigned some pretty heavy reading with the Tao Te Ching and some Egyptian mythology. I wonder what Nightcrawler has to say this time.

Well they'd probably approach it like werewolf beast from DOFP. In normal scenes as Karl Lykos, and in action scenes as Sauron.

I'd certainly like to see him at some point. He would be a prime choice if the Savage Land shows up in a subsequent film.
