So? If the Carnage symbiote can take over the Silver Surfer, I think another Venom offspring would be just fine taking over Wonder Man. Besides, it's Bendis. If he does actually have a symbiote bond with Wonder Man, do you really think the ionic energy thing will matter to him?

Power levels and continuity mean nothing to Bendis.

FYI, I hated "Cosmic Carnage" back in the 90's, when the symbiote lauched onto the Surfer. It was pretty stupid. The end of the 90's were not a good time for the Spider-Books, even after the Clone Saga finally ended.

This is the same Bendis-written Wonder Man who, in the span of 15 minutes, needs someone to carry him and then flies by himself. Ionic energy be damned!

Exactly. What is great about Bendis is he can simultanously get a character's powers wrong while being inconsistant with them.

It'd be cool if the heroes of Earth drop the Civil War, band together, and defeat Annihilus. I always liked the What Ifs where the alternate reality turns out to have a happier ending than the 616 reality.

I think I spot Black Widow, the blonde could be Sharon Carter, the brunette being Katie Bishop is a stretch and Blood Scream's always a good villain. Okay maybe not. Cheung's art rocks anyways.
