Definitely wait. After all, it was in season 2 B that it got specially bad.

Seriously though, I don't mind Kara lite episodes here and there as long as she is a significant player in the story. Less screen time shouldn't mean 'less significant'. Not for the protagonist.

To be honest, I already can't remember what happened in Ep 3 except Kara's hilarious moment cruising with Britney. lol.

I don't mind it as long as it furthers the plot. But to give Guardian something to do? Hmmmm.... not furthering the plot. When I can FF through an entire subplot in an episode and it not hurt the episode flow? there is a problem. In both Guardian centric episodes I was able to do that....

LOL....actually Odette auditioned for the part of Alex at the beginning. I could see her in either part, Alex or Maggie.

I never understood why the writers just didn't make her Italian....hell, an Italian mother and an Irish cop father. That was so weird. But hey Floriana played a Brazilian in 9 Lives of Chloe King, no one was *****ing then. IMO, the acting chops were the problem, not her ethnicity.

The world was a lot different then. I'm glad that aspect of Hollywood is getting called out.

But it was especially stupid of them to take a white character, make her into a poc only to cast a non poc actress.

Most of Flo's roles have also been Latinas .There was a discussion about this on AV Club during the review of 3.03.Conclusion was that what other roles is she going to put herself forward for ? There is not exactly a ton of roles for dark skinned,dark haired woman of Southern European heritage and even when there are -Huntress fro example - they are casting Aussies of Dutch heritage (neither Frank or Helena were acted by actors of Italian extraction) .The actor that played Maggie's dad also has been a career out of playing Latino characters as he is Spanish .


Her playing a Brazilian is less of a thing as she is part Portugese ,Brazil was a Portugese colony and most of the non Afro Latino population is descended from them .

Well, then there ya go she could have had an Italian mom and Irish cop dad on the show....maybe the writers need to do a little more research.

I'm not a "stan" so to speak....I very seldom look close enough at celebrities backgrounds unless something about them intrigues me because of my own background. ie: Melissa being from Native American decent...but even then I didn't know until she was talking about her tattoos on Craig Ferguson or somewhere....I can't remember...lol

Some of Flo's extended family live in Brazil - loads of Italians ended up South America (especially Argentina)

But when celebs say they are so&so I like to know to what degree, Blake Lively states she is part Cherokee or something. Probably from a ancestor she never met and probably never visited anything to due with the culture so I don't look at her as having anything to do with them.

I don't know anything about Blake Lively, Melissa however has a pretty extensive knowledge of the Ute, and 2 of her tattoos give homage to that heritage. The Wolf on her wrist and the Feather on the back of her neck.

I have Native American ancestry myself, it is from my grandmother's side of the family, I don't know much about the specifics my uncle hasn't finished his research on that side of my family...I do however know quite a bit about the Cherokee because simply from teaching....I don't know much about my Cherokee ancestry as of yet though but that doesn't negate that the ancestry is there.

Why would they be bringing Lois Lane on? And at this point we haven't heard anything about Tyler coming back this season. Maybe in the finale.

And as good as Odette has been why waste her on someone that would barely be on the show, if at all?

She is very likeable, I wonder if they'll (Smallville) Davis Bloome/Doomsday her and somehow separate her from the monster inside

I'd love a Superman spin off but I think there's zero chance. I do think Superman will return to TV at somepoint though in his own series but that will be years away.

Well Reign could still exist as she did in the mid season finale. After all she isn't in control when she;s Reign so I don't think we'd lose a great villain. I say separate then send Reign into the Phantom Zone. In fact its really starting to remind me 'The Day of the Krypton Man' Superman arc where he was taken over by his Kryptonian side. Ultimately that Superman separated from that Kryptonian side which was the Eradicator.

I like Chyler and I think she does Alex very well. But, it is sad that Odette couldn't have been Maggie. She is better at acting and yes, there is the likability factor.

On the other hand, because she is much better at acting, why should she go for the role of a tertiary character?

As far as talent is concerned and requirement (make the viewers sympathetic to Reign), Odette is doing a good job. So, great casting I guess.

I hope Reign doesn't die and instead goes away... And that we get to see Odette every once in a while.

I don't know if Odette could've looked more like the daughter of Dean Cain though than Chyler. Cain is half Japanese. Odette is something like Venezuelan/ Colombian. Her look might've been more similar than Chyler's perhaps.
