I kind of rolled my eyes in the final battle when

All the female heroes were in one shot together charging at thanos. Just felt forced in the women power and took me out of the movie. Call me whatever you want but just like in IW when the 3 on 1 fight happened it just didn't work for me.
I get there badass women who can hold there own but it just feels like pandering to say hey look at us were progressive. Wouldn't it mean more and progressive to just have all the heroes and there genders and race mixed in a lineup and charging at thanos together?

I've said this before and I'll say it again: I never thought my childhood heroes would eventually take over the globe. I was the only kid I knew who loved comics and I just felt it was this weird niche hobby, so I'll never take the MCU's unprecedented success for granted.

Again it didn't work for me because it felt forced at that point. Wonder woman charging into no mans land in a heroic moment worked, the women lining up like in this movie didn't. You can put the sjw card down because there have been plenty of times heroic women have worked in these movies. Even like I don't a certain characters sacrifice in this very movie an hour earlier.

Like I said, obviously the scene was a bit forced, but there is a reason for that. If the scene instead had Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Hulk, Spider-Man, Falcon, Bucky, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man etc. banding together like that no one would even point it out. It's about normalizing the idea that powerful female characters can also band together in a battle like male characters can. It didn't work for you, fine, I loved it though, as did many others. One can only hope that things like this will be normalized sooner or later without people feeling the need to point it out.

Just got back from my 2nd viewing (of planned 3).

Yeah i loved the movie even more now.

The emotions were bigger than before throughout the movie. It was amazing.

Im giving this a 10/10 now. Scrap the 9,5 !

This movie is AWESOMETACULAR.

So well said and I totally agree! This is honestly a blessing and sheer joy that we who grew up reading these stories in the 70s-90s get to see them come to life in such an overall amazing fashion. It has been a beautiful cinematic experience

My only regret is that we won’t see more of these tremendous characters in other films but this is just pure greed on my part. To see another independent story like winter soldier or some other adventure with these characters would be delightful but I am so so thankful for what we did get. For all of the movie foul ups there have been in comic book movies, the MCU has done something so far beyond what I could have possibly imagined. Never ever would I ever have thought that as someone well into adulthood that I would have the great fortune of witnessing such incredible spectacle and amazing stories (see what i did there ) come to life on screen with such care, consideration, passion and polish.

Yup, we’re all varying ages on this forum but I grew up in the 90’s when comics books were a at the peak of the speculator’s market. Back then comic books shops were everywhere and yet there was a stigma against being into them. The closest thing to an “cinematic universe” were the saturday morning cartoons that would sometimes intersect with each other like when the Xmen appeared on the Spiderman TAS. Back then THAT was a huge deal.

But now, man, what a long way this has come. I dont love ALL of the MCU but i love what it pioneered and Endgame is such an incredible cinematic payoff and feat all of its own. Now the whole world is crazy about comic book characters. Stuff we used to get made fun of for liking.

How bout that.

I just got back from it. It felt LONG and yet it felt like time stood still.

I really loved it. It wasn't as much action as I would have imagined. But I really found that to work well. It was more story and plot and emotion.

I wanna see it again (maybe next weekend) once I get paid wednesday.

This is a beautiful film. I'm amazed we're given something very different from IW but crafted just as well that it's like a piece of fine mosaic when u view them together. This is freaking Godfather 1 and 2 of cbm movies here folks. Can't believe they pulled it off!

Yeah I dumped the 9.5 after my 2nd viewing too. And I just got out of my 3rd and I’m toying with the 10.1.
