This is a beautiful film. I'm amazed we're given something very different from IW but crafted just as well that it's like a piece of fine mosaic when u view them together. This is freaking Godfather 1 and 2 of cbm movies here folks. Can't believe they pulled it off!
When EG is out on home release I don’t think I’ll ever be watching IW or EG without making them part of a double bill. I prefer them both as part of one epic whole complementing each other perfectly.

I think it's fair to say that Endgame will be on a top 10 film of the year list. I can legit see it getting an Oscar nod.

MCU version of Secret Wars in 2025 with the Russos. Save this message (?)
I think now the chances of Secret Wars with the Russos is high, but I expect a longer gap till they and the MCU are ready. I think they want a break after 4 MCU films in short succession with CW being a big undertaking and IW and EG being mega undertakings! Also the MCU will be in a rebuilding phase for a fair while now and Secret Wars will be a massive event.

I think RDJ needs to get an Oscar nod. That scene in the beginning with him (y’all know which one) was one of the best acting performances I’ve seen from him.

I'm fine with the idea my only criticism is that the fight that ensued right after wasn't that memorable. I had the same issue with that moment in Infinity War.
That moment in Infinity War made sense. They were already near each other when that happened

No love for the Hulk??? I guess he doesn't count.

I was gonna ask if it was licensing issues with Universal, but they got Homecoming on there despite the Sony thing, lol.

Same here. Knowing what happens in Infinity War you can definitely enjoy watching Endgame at home by itself but the two back to back would be a true epic.

Gotta say I am amazed at how small a role Okoye had in this considering the minor controversy over the poster.

He was good, but IMHO, Scarlett Johanssen was better in that scene with Steve.

I noticed more in the 3rd act on repeat viewings and
it was great that she at least singlehandedly took out Corvus Glaive. Also noticed that when Thanos is looking around and right after Ebony Maw (aka: Squidward :D) gets dusted you can see Proxima holding Glaive in the background as they both turn to dust. Didn't notice them on my first viewing. I really can't wait for this to release on home video so I can pause certain scenes. So much to take in.

Saw it again. Not much changed for me, still 9/10. I really enjoyed
professor hulk
more. This might be my favourite
Hulk. Only wish he had a memorable fight scene.

I've noticed new things on every viewing. (3 so far). When you know most of the upcoming action you can look for less obvious things in the background, and the background is very richly packed here.

My thoughts exactly on that.

Make it even better: 22 films in 21 days (capped off with the IW-EG double feature).

She was on the poster to draw in Black panther fans.
Yep, Marvel is really pandering to the social justice crowd, but as long as the movies continue to be excellent I don't care.

I just hope that all-female shot is the most they go in that direction. That was so forced it was horrible.

Yes, I agree. But the fact that was billed with the rest was surprising. Either way, her agent did well. I can imagine it must have been awkward to promote the film when you have so little to do with it.

Oh yeah, I remember that part. I was like Go General :cwink:

I suppose Marvel panders to white guys by casting so many damn Chris' in their films :oldrazz::whatever:

It wasn't horrible for me. I loved that shot. It was BadAss. I just wished it had gone on a bit more. Or if we had a shot of some of the female characters awkwardly introducing themselves in the battle (but I guess we got too much of that in Infinity War, so this time it was strictly business).

I know some might say they are no longer interested in future MCU film because most of the original 6 are gone. I thought this movie would make me sad ,since we'll never see them again. But surprisingly, I don't feel like I'm going to miss them. I love these characters, but I'm ready to move on to other characters. Carol is shaping up to become my new favourite. I can't wait to see far from home, doctor strange 2 and gotg volume 3. Bring it on marvel, I'm in it for the long haul.
I think the upcoming sequels could be really up my street with the originals out the way (I’ve always been more of a sequel person) - CM2, BP2, DS2, FFH, and then the second sequels GotG3 and AM&W3 (assuming that’s happening). If they can throw in a couple of original Avengers, add in some existing characters like SW, and if some of the brand new characters to be introduced catch fire, then I think we’re in for a great mix.

Pandering? So social Justice crowd is another word for black people? When they put a white actor on the poster to draw in fans from their franchise, which group would you say they are pandering to?

Way to go to Anthony Mackie. I was glad he got something to do.

I was surprised at how small the roles Dr. Strange and SpiderMan had. Only a few lines of dialogue between them both.
