I did the exact same. I played Reloaded then whipped out both the tape of the movie and my N64 I will say I still like the N64 version better.

Have yet to play any of the other versions, though I may pick up the one that's just come out on the PS3 evntually. However, I don't think any subsequent versions after the original can ever really recapture its magic, or probably ever beat it.

I remember some person said "Don't worry guys, it'll be over before you know it!" and they were right. I can't believe they are done filming. It amazes me. Next month man, next month. That'll be the month!

The marketing has been really very badly handled to this point. Can I ask - as a SHH noob - when did you guys get the first sniff of a viral during TDK?

We are still over 8 months away from release...they arent going to spend all of the marketing dough this far out. Now that the movie has wrapped and there will be plenty of finished material to show, marketing will pick up in the coming months. Patience...just enjoy the last 8 months becuase it will be over before you know it. We are nearly one month away from the prologue and first full trailer and after that, I am sure it's going to pick up.

Cop/Swat cars are spotted back where I live (Oklahoma). They were spotted at hotel when shooting began in PA. So I'm gonna' go have a look.

For me, there was a lot more hype for The Dark Knight. But I know that will probably change once I see that prologue.

I'm the exact opposite. I'm far more excited for TDKR then I was for TDK. I didn't start getting really hyped for TDK until the full length trailer in December. Basically the amount hype I got for TDK from the December trailer, I've had that hype for TDKR ever since the cast was announced.

It's actually unhealthy how hyped I am for this movie.
