I live in Pittsburgh. Is there anyway to become an extra now? I now they had casting a while back, but I was wondering if there is anyway to be apart of it now?

Also, does anyone know where they will be filming at this week?

Too late. The casting call is over.

I've got "Total Film" in front of me now and nowhere in the article does it say anything about his lines being dubbed in post.

Hey! Is it true that you get four posters with that issue? One of which is the TDKR one?
And also, how big are the posters?

It is true! They're double sided, so you only get two physical posters. They are The Dark Knight Rises with Sherlock Holmes on the other side and on the second poster is The Amazing Spider-Man teaser with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo on the other side.
They aren't that big, they're probably just a bit smaller than A3.

Hmm, now to get this back on topic....I'm sure you can buy this magazine with the TDKR poster in Pittsburgh. (That ought to do it)

Guys, most films replace most of the dialogue through ADR. It's pretty common place as a technique. It just depends on how much. With the IMAX sequences in Knight, all of the production dialogue was replaced in ADR.

I wouldn't worry about Bane's voice. It'll get altered, cleaned up, etc. in post. It's just part of the nature of filmmaking these days...especially since he's wearing a mask...

I have a strong feeling that the voice everyone heard was a red herring. They will probably do Banes voice completely by overdubbing. I cant see him sounding that terrible AND sounding like a guy in a cheap mask.

They might dub some of his lines or alter his voice a bit, be I don't think he was doing a fake voice just to screw with people. If they knew in advance they were just going to dub it why bother actually blasting his lines for the whole crowd to hear? Not playing his audio over the loudspeaker and just telling everyone to look afraid probably gets the same result...they wanted to record the live audio over the stadium PA for a reason, which means those of you expecting him to sound totally different are probably going to be let down.

If he wouldnt have that voice in the movie he would have talked with his regular voice instead of the one he used.

Just off of the phone with KDKA Pittsburgh, not sure if anyone heard? I'll be posting it online soon. I was really nervous, I think it came through =\ Fun though!

Not knowing much about the football stadium they're filming at can someone tell he if the stadium is incomplete or being rebuilt, there looks like there's a terrace missing at one of the goal line ends.

Hey guys...just got back after many hours of driving from the Heinz Field scene in Pittsburgh. It was a lot of work to get there and sit in the heat for hours, but worth it! Does everyone have the basic details about the scene. I have to say, Bane and his voice really creeped us out. It was very unhinged and not something you'd expect for a villain. I am 100% confident that Tom Hardy will deliver the goods for this role after being there in person!

In case anybody doesn't have the lines he says: "Gotham...take control of your city. Here is the instrument of your liberation...Identify yourself to the world:"

There is a flight of seats missing under patio (probably folded and packed in), but apart from that, I don't see anything missing per se.

There are never seats there - it's the entryway mezzanine.

For the other poster who asked, Heinz Field was built from 1999-2001 and is home of the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers as well as the University of Pittsburgh's Pitt Panther football team.

So where in Pittsburgh are they heading now?

From the Shoot/Location thread:

OLIVER AVE
(from article)
Date: Aug 10 (7AM - 9PM)
Info: Scenes will include daytime exterior dialogue with precision driving and interior dialogue. While the filming is primarily in the daytime hours, activities will occur before and after approximate filming times, as early as 3am and as late as midnight. There are no pyrotechnics planned for this location but Oliver Ave and Smithfield St will be covered with snow.
