an all british/european cast...no juggernaut, dazzler, sage, or nocturne(yeah her parents are both european but she just scream American to me)...bring in Kylun, Psylocke, Megan, Rory/Ahab and Syrin. Perhaps even Nightcrawler.

I'd at least want him to ditch Dazzler and Sage. We already know Nocturne will be leaving. Juggernaut can stay as far as I'm concerned. Then again, I don't read the title currently. We'll see what Cornell comes up with.

I'd like to see more structure to the team. These people arent that familiar with one another so the instant family vibe just isnt working. I'd like to see Brian being the leader rather than everyone throwing out orders (particularly Sage who I hope doesnt return after the Britannic rubbish) or ignoring Wisdom. Wisdom should be liaison to the government a la Gyrich, but a field operative one who merely reports to them rather than enforces what they want the team to do.

There should be more structure to the team members too. There is never a sensible line up in marvel teams, with line ups often comprising three powerhouses, two energy blasters and a hand to hand fighter. This team came about because the government approached Brian and said in the wake of M-Day Britain needed its Captain, and it needed Excalibur to be a symbol again. But did they recruit from know hereoes? No, they just let anyone join who happened to show up in the same week as Wisdom saw Brian.

I agree, it's like CC picked a team of his favorite characters that were available at the time without concluding how they would work as a team. Wisdom and Captain Britain are the only two i would keep. When Black Knight joined it was better because he and Brian are friends and have a history. The constant bickering between members does not help the book either.They do need to bring Psylocke,Chamber and Lionheart to the team in my opinion and also Bring Black Knight back.
In my opinion the team need to be included in the mavel universe a bit more, not just the X-verse but marvel. It disserpoints me that the team are being ignored for World War Hulk and the upcoming Messiah Complex. In my view Captain Britain should be on the illuminati, being a member of the "Captain Britain" Corps and former ruler of Otherworld, it would bring the team much closer to the main marvel universe events.

Black Knight also makes sense from a mythical standpoint. I mean, Merlyn orchestrated the coming together of Excalibur in order to prepare Brian for the upcoming battles etc - so have the guy who has ties to the original Black Knight of Merlin times (though Otherworld Merlyn may or may not be the same Merlin as the Arthurian one) and the lady of the lake makes total sense in fulfilling the role of the corps and the protection of the dimensional nexus and otherworld as a whole

Thats what i meant by saying that Excalibur should be brought closer to the rest of the Marvel Universe, Captain Britain is the UK's no.1 hero so he should be involved more in world matters.

Because the Die by the Sword mini deals with Exiles and Excalibur and both books are expected to be changed after it, and no.

I would hope that it addresses the issue of the Panthicropan thing being an unknown factor to Brian and Otherworld. It allows you to do what Otherworld is all about, but without them being able to stop anyone from doing it.

It's been bad since Nocturne had her stroke so don't even bother to read it. I guess the good things will come with the crossover between this and Exiles, but it's gonna be written by Claremont, so I don't really know.

Having Longshot around was what helped ruin her back in the old UXM days in Australia

I cringe at the time they spent together in teh X-men. Dazzler before was a strong character, with a strong personality, courage, a sense of independence, etc... She was all about Longshot and became a self absorbed bitter jealous twit. She was so concerned with her looks and picking fights with Rogue over Longshot and was so possessive and annoying. I thought they were horrible paired together. Doesnt help that I hate Longshot and think he's one character that should have never escaped the 80s
