I too have to say that the good guys dont always have it so bad. (Not so good always, of course, but not terrible.) In high school, yes, I was ignored. Oddly, even now that I graduated ten years ago, female former classmates still give me the "Dont talk to me" look when we run into each other. Whatever.
In college, it was the opposite. I was amazed at how many women flirted with me and I had done absolutely nothing to "earn" it. Nothing more than polite chit chat. It blew my mind. Of course, now I'm in the real world and all the women my age are married and I dont even know any women. Sucks.
The moral of the story is "Never try."
