I could care either way if they end up in a relationship. As long as it is written well.

I'd tell you why I dislike him but there appears to be poop on my face.![]()

Pfft, you just fear the Almighty Uterus.![]()
I think I've always preferred a slightly asexual Wonder Woman. I like the idea of Wonder Woman being a champion of Athena and I prefer her being an embodiment of who Athena is: warrior, wise, defender of peace, and like Athena doesn't take up a lover (man or woman).
Why just today at work I was talking about when I run on Congress about my position on womens' issues and it goes "Give them whatever they want, because they're terrifyingOh hippie hunter![]()
I can see the rest of the Amazons being lesbian and bisexual, with an island with no men, it's kinda hard to be full on heterosexual.Thats fair enough. Though while i totally respect people who choose to be asexual I get the impression that Wonder Woman's lack of a sex life is more to do with DC being afraid of her being sexually active with either men or women
There's a lot of silly people out there that view sex as something bad or dirty
I think Wonder Woman is absolutely bisexual or perhaps panromantic. Meaning she desires both genders but isnt interested in sex
I wouldn't mind an upgrade. As long as he's human. Although I really liked her Squadron Supreme twin. Her "Trevor" was an old man being kept alive by machines. Some serious Kavorkian **** goes down.
Chilling.

Her story has always been steeped in irony. Woman hero in Man's World. Raised by Amazons and yet she's attracted to <gasp> a man. Trevor is the damsel in distress in most instances.
These themes only work if Wonder Woman is attracted to men. If she veers from that path she turns into Xena.

I had this Indiana Jones vibe with Hal in this issue. He's trying to get Flash to help and the same thing was going through my head.
"WE. ARE GOING. TO DIE!"

Kryptonians. Why did it have to be Kryptonians![]()
I'm not going to ask how it got there. I don't judge![]()

I think the closest I've ever liked Steve Trevor in a more traditional fashion was in the Wonder Woman DTV.

And then my coworkers had to bring up other moments.....the bastards

But Wonder Woman on the other hand....totally full on asexual. To me, Wonder Woman is a full on superhero embodiment of Athena and pretty much every incarnation of Athena has her being aromantic. Although, based on writers trying to give Wonder Woman love interests, she's more along the lines of a heteroromantic with Steve Trevor, Batman, Superman, and Nemesis. DC will never let her be attracted to a woman.
The problem with giving Wonder Woman a love interest is that it often just doesn't feel right. They're often written very poorly, Nemesis in particular, or are just boring, Superman being the most prominent in this regard. I think the only time I have liked Wonder Woman with a "love interest" is Batman in the Justice League animated series.
