Do you find most literature, films and practically every story ever told boring? Shakespeare is total dullsville, huh?

Most romantic films and romantic comedies yes

I would rather watch Bound or Queer as Folk a thousand times than some boy meets girl romantic comedy once

Romeo and Juliet is one of the 'straight' romance stories i enjoy though. Its hilarious :awesome:

It's like a teen movie with added suicide

It was a Spiderman reference. I was doing my best Jameson impression :oldrazz:

I didn't think the joke worked in retrospect. Glad if i got a chuckle out of you

Seriously though I want to clear the air a bit and say I have nothing against you. I was :cmad: when i thought you were serious about making Batwoman straight. Glad you were just kidding

I disagree with you that its bad to make straight/gay characters bisexual but I have nothing against you

I'm probably not going to fall in love with you :oldrazz:

But your alright by me

I realized the joke, but then I realized a blank stare isn't the best response over the internet and plus I was on my phone so I couldn't pull up a pic.

I'm glad you didn't take it personally, and I realize this isn't the right place to discuss this, which is why I wanted to keep it light and not go into too much detail.

So guys, how about that Justice League!

Guys, I hate to put a damper on things or seem like I'm coming down on your discussion... but this is the JLA thread. You can discuss this topic elsewhere. Mind steering the discussion back to the League?

(realizes Mystirious already said it)

Oh, sure, steal my thunder. :o:oldrazz:

Yes your thunder is mine!

Muhahahaha

Now I must go aid Loki and the Frost Giants in the conquest of Asgard with it :ninja:

Well I found the first issue of Justice League and Justice League Dark to be a little to light on plot. ThoughJL Dark made up for that by having some fab creepy scenes in it which I dug

I'm looking forward to Aquaman showing up even though those sideburns are an abomination

But he's one of my favouritest DC characters so I cannot wait to see how he's written in this series

I'm looking forward to Wonder Woman joining too  I loves her

Did anyone else :hrt: JLI

I adored it even though there was no Ted Kord. Which needs to be fixed immediately

If they are changing things with this relaunch they need to have Ted and Jaime both be alive. They can be the Blue Beetle Corps or something

Sort that **** out DC

I'm sorry. I don't think I can read what you wrote.

It's a pity the actual comic is so unspectacular there's really nothing to say about it... JLD totally eclipsed it and JLI just plain sucked without Kord to be a foil for Booster. :down

Justice League Dark was definitely much better. Spooky things going on and an interesting introduction to some of the team especially Zatanna and Shade

Looking forward to seeing how on earth they are all going to work together as a team

For serious. At the very least, if they wanted to limit Blue Beetle to just Jaime for this ride on the retcon train, they could've put him on the team and struck up a new comedy duo for the ages. I mean, Booster's still roughly as mature as a teenager anyway. It could work!

It really could!
Heck, code name him 'Weevil' or 'Aphid' or whatever and have him be the tech specialist!

Or just Ted Kord, like Ray Palmer is just Ray Palmer in Frankenstein. Make Kord Industries the financial backer of the team or something.

I would read it

I'm imagining Booster trying to be the mature one and failing miserable with hilarious results

And getting pimp slapped by Jaime's mom when he gets him into the kind of ridiculous situations he's so good at getting into

Way to rain on my codename parade! :cmad:

But that works too! Why isn't DC lurking here for our ideas? :argh:

Because everything we like usually sells like s*** to the masses. ;)

They are, they just steal them from the RPGs instead of the discussion forums :o

Taste is a privilege, not a right. When void of bad options the only option is good.

I still want a list for PROOF! *Haven't killed Dinah..er.. sent her to another dimension yet!*

Unless you count this strange new continuity where she's bff with a woman who she's never spent time with for a single panel before now as an alternate dimension

It reminds me of the Torchwood episode 'Adam'

Where a new guy just shows up and everyone acts like they've known him for years and he's their bestest buddy and good at everything and in the opening credits

And he turns out to be a horrible alien and a rapist

I'm not saying that Starling is a horrible alien rapist

But she probably is :o

Yea the release of Justice League #1 in comparison to the rest of the relaunch...while I didn't feel the book was bad...there were just so many better books.

Ironclad logic.

Either that or she's The Key. :csad:

Which means a crazy male/female hell god is close behind.

And that Black Canary will have to sacrifice herself to seal a rift between dimensions

And she'll come back and start sexing it up with vampires with bad british accents :csad:

I always thought Marsters faked a pretty good British accent for Spike, actually...
