Ps: now yes, they have a spotty super hero movie track record.

But when they really try even with lesser efforts, they make some of the most ambitious comics books movie ( V for Vendetta, Watchmen and even Man of steel)

*Sigh* Two Face is right....why is this film coming out in 2016 again?
Honestly... Yeah?

It's filming at the same time as A:AoU but needs another entire year for post-production? Surely there would have been a suitable release date next year. It's really just putting the JL film back even further, whilst Marvel enters Phase 3. They should be filming JL next year for a 2016 release. Doesn't make sense.

2 years is a long time to wait. Let's hope it'll be worth it.

Here's how I would rank all the Batman titles:

Batman (to the point)
The Dark Knight (second best after 'Batman')
Batman and Robin (again, to the point)
Batman Returns
Batman Forever
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (if they got rid of the subtitle, this would be much higher)
The Dark Knight Rises

I would have given just BvS a very low mark but adding a subtitle takes away the focus on it and make the whole thing sound a bit better to me. And it looks great written in 2 lines under the BvS logo.

If I had the power to do so, I would force Warner Brothers to change the title to World's Finest.
And then the studio would have to scrap this film, re-write the script and take WW (and other DC heroes) out because they SHOULD ONLY appear in solo films and nothing else at this moment, then re-cast both Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor here, come up with a new designs for Batman's suit and also the car, fire Snyder and get another director etc

I am so glad you do not have the power.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

i keep reading the title whenever i navigate around the forums... and its just making me :lmao:

...thats not really a good thing yknow. :(

If it carried a Marvel logo, the prevailing sentiment would be "OMG teh awesome!!!11"

The title sounds inelegant to me, but most blockbuster titles sound pulpy and clumsy. Whatever.

Warner Bros: ALL WE CARE ABOUT IZ DA MONEY!!!!

Marvel: WE LUV OUR FANS AND ONLY MAKE GOODE FILMZ!

Edgar Wright: but-but-but-

Marvel: SHUT UP EDGAR! FAIRY DUST!!!

It's so funny how every single thing that's released gets nitpicked lol....I don't understand how a title of a movie can set people off ....it's like the title comes on screen.......then....end credits....caa mon people!.....seriously?.....don't let the GA be right about us fanboys and girls....smh

I think most of the nit-picking aimed at this film and DC in general is due to their perceived "desperation" to catch up with Marvel. I'm not just talking about Marvel studios and the MCU, but the franchises from Sony and Fox as well. With every Marvel superhero movie released, fans from both sides are incessantly comparing and contrasting every detail from both companies; and since DC does not match Marvel in terms of volume in the cinematic landscape, DC will inevitably be the victim of overblown criticism. I know we are not supposed to discuss DC vs. Marvel but this was just my observation on the whole issue.

I get it, and sometimes it's tiresome reading these comments...I just gotta take a break from here from time to time until news breaks...and then it just recycles all over again....smh

Sometimes, I pity film studios for having us as their audience.

Meh, we don't really count, since they know they have our money. We can complain all we want but the GA is KING. After spending more time around here the stereotypical things they say about the fandom is true though. :BA

To the general audience this is only a title and won't think much of it. :woot:

Thank God for that....:whatever:

I might be the only one that kinda likes the title.

It doesn't matter what they release/do with this movie, you're going to hear an enormous amount of whining and complaining no matter what. It's like clockwork with DC movies.

Yea I know it just gets to me sometimes...I usually brush it off but I guess I should've known by the name of this thread lol

I like dawn of justice as a title, not gonna lie.

It's kinda funny if you think about it, the title kinda gives away the story of the entire movie. lol
