Eh. I honestly don't care that much about Mockingbird anyway.

I like Mockingbird, and if they went through all that effort to bring her back, at least have some decency and not kill her off again, especially since she came back not so long ago. If they want her to be dead, they shouldn't have bothered to create that Skull storyline to fake her death in the first place.

I like how the writers forgot that Luke and co learned Steve was alive(In who will Wield the Shield) before the house was destroyed. I like how the writers forgot that Steve was sitting in his Captain America costume when he heard the news about the attack on Thor in Siege #1.

I'm surprised that Sentry is nowhere to be found both here and the SIEGE #3 preview. I figured Cap's attack plan would be to go right after him and Osborn since they're the strongest of the group. It seems to be a bunch of one-on-one fights.

Probably because his speed, agility and spider-sense will be more effective than Clint's swords. Spidey can bob and weave and get in close for the takedown.

And I am losing more and more hope that Spidey will have any part in taking Norman down.

At first I was hoping he would take him down, now, like runawayboulder, I'm just hoping for a hit.

I think everyone would like to see Spider-Man take down Osborn. The younger naive child inside me wishes to see my favorite comic character come out on top. Lord knows, after the past couple years he's had, he deserves it. But the mature adult (who still reads comics lol) understand reality. The practical storyline would be for the MU Trinity to take down the big threat (Osborn, Sentry, Hammer). It makes more sense that it's IRON man (reborn) taking down the IRON patriot. Bc that's who osborn is right now. NOT the Green Goblin. Now.... It would be a good addition to have Spidey get in a shot once the armor is removed or if Osborn were to don the greens again.

There's plenty of time for Osborn to go back to being the Green Goblin and have Spider-Man pummel him after Siege is over. Siege is the big three's time to shine after like 8 years apart (except for that quick team-up in Thor: Disassembled, but that was sort of pointless so I don't count it). If Bendis shortchanges them on that by having Spider-Man horn in on Osborn's downfall, I'll be disappointed.

Yeah, but Osborn had him at a disadvantage because his mind was half-gone by then. A straight-up fight between them, even if Tony is in his old-school armor, should definitely go to Tony because he's got gobs of experience on Osborn. I could see him cracking wise to get under Osborn's skin. We know not being respected really rankles Osborn, so it'd be a good psychological tactic.

I understand that this is Cap/Tony/Thor's story but it would just be plain wrong not to have Spiderman do something to Norman. He KILLED HIS FIRST LOVE, Spiderman would be a chump to let the trinity completely steal this victory from him, lord knows this has been years in the making. Plus even though he's supposed to be marvel's mascot, Spiderman's never really had his big moment to shine in a huge marvel event (unless you count his unmasking in Civil War). Now his freakin arch nemesis is a major threat to the MU and he's going to do nothing?

I'm just saying give us two pages where Spiderman is pissed off and confronting Norman and i'll be happy.

Actually, seeing as Tony's mind has been rebooted back to sometime before Civil War, as far as Stark remembers if they go at it during Siege, it would be the first time they fought.

Him coming out of nowhere to save the day, when he really hasn't had anything to do with this whole thing, is bad story telling. You might be able to argue that that was editorials fault for not making sure that Osborne being in charge meant making Spidey's life a living hell. But you gotta go with the way the story is going, and the way the story is going, is Spidey doesn't really have s**t to do with anything. He's caused more trouble for Iron Man, Thor, and hell, even Counter Force or whatever the super heroes formally known as the New Warriors are calling themselves,than Spidey. They all have more right to take Osborne down than Spidey does. He can have the leftovers as far as I'm concerned. It's like having a Sand Raider show up at the end of Return of the Jedi and killing Vader. Sure, he probably has a good reason for doing so, but it disrupts the whole damn narrative.

I agree with this. I think it was poor writing that he wasnt involved with the story.
