I never really liked Spidey to begin with, but after that, I'm like, the character doesn't exist for me anymore. But that has nothing to do with my feelings on this matter. Him coming out of nowhere to save the day, when he really hasn't had anything to do with this whole thing, is bad story telling. You might be able to argue that that was editorials fault for not making sure that Osborne being in charge meant making Spidey's life a living hell. But you gotta go with the way the story is going, and the way the story is going, is Spidey doesn't really have s**t to do with anything. He's caused more trouble for Iron Man, Thor, and hell, even Counter Force or whatever the super heroes formally known as the New Warriors are calling themselves,than Spidey. They all have more right to take Osborne down than Spidey does. He can have the leftovers as far as I'm concerned. It's like having a Sand Raider show up at the end of Return of the Jedi and killing Vader. Sure, he probably has a good reason for doing so, but it disrupts the whole damn narrative.
