When did the first trailer for DOS hit? We haven't seen from TABA yet.

That one hit last June, however, there was a sneak peek at DOS about a year ago via an exclusive code on the Unexpected Journey Blu-ray. They might do the same thing on the DOS Blu-ray for There and Back Again, but until then, I wouldn't expect an official first trailer until at least mid-May with Godzilla.

Guess I'll be patient. Thanks!

listen to the Howard Stern Harvey Weinstein interview.

Harvey said that WB wants to pay him only for one Hobbit movie and not all 3. because its one story.

Has WB even seen these films? Theyve got the Sauron story and the Erebor story. And thats just the beginning. Harvey should argue that there are about fifty stories taking place concurrently and take em for all theyre worth.:awesome:

What do your elf eyes see?

Family bucket.

I see they showed some footage at CinemaCon but can't find a description of what was shown anywhere?

Footage was extremely brief. Just a couple of shots.

As for the tiny amount of footage included from "There and Back Again," Smaug is one big dragon when he flies, Lady Galadriel (Cate Blanchett) will return, Lord Elrond (Hugo Weaving) will draw his sword and Gandalf (Ian McKellen) looks very, very worried.

Exhibitors were treated to a video greeting from the New Zealand based director and a look back at his six part epic. New footage, aside from a few dramatic stares courtesy of Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and Bilbo (Martin Freeman) and a glimpse of a flying dragon, was scant.”

wish there were more songs like this in the Hobbit films

I liked it better when the Dwarves sang it to be honest.

I wouldn't know. Was never able to get past the opening. Left the theater pretty quickly after both films ended. :funny:

is there a release date for the Smaug DVD yet?
