But why would I call a black guy a Puff Daddy (and the correct term is Diddy now, I think - keep with the times, will you?

t

or asian person a Jackie Chan?
I know I'm not exactly preaching to the choir, and I'm definitely not saying that calling Hawkeye a Solid Snake is racial in any way, shape, or form, and I'm not even saying there's anything wrong racially or politically incorrect or whatever. I just think it's pointless.
"LIEK ONOES HE R LUK LIEK VID GEMZ CARACTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!! Y MAD R HAK!"
I'm not mocking anyone specifically, just the general idea.
Hawkeye has a definitive black ops type look to him. Why can't we leave it at that? Why is there a need to make the next jump and say "Well, obviously Mad is a hack, and he needs to get rid of the mad-on for video games, because if he's not making all his characters look like 616 dolts he's making them look like video game clowns!"
Not that you have to like MAD's art, and not liking it is, of course, perfectly fine. But why make the jump to make something that isn't a discovery or observation, but is a meaningless attempt at bashing it?
Save that destructive output for Bachalo's crap.
