No, it's safe to say he's still on issue #2.

He gets no benefit of the doubt from me. That's one lazy mofo. And even on the off chance that it actually does take him a long time to draw 22 pages of a comic book working 8-12 hours a day, that's fine. Just stay the hell away from monthly comics. What's sad is that him being slow isn't really the case. It's a work ethic problem. He has none.

Well, tomorrow after 5-6 years Millar and Hitch finally complete their 26 issue run on the book. I've been re-reading the entire series so I can remember what's happened/ing, it's funny 'cause I saw ads for the first Spider-man movie in the 1st 2-3 issues, that's how long it's taken to finish. Raimi was able to complete 3 mega-budget movies in the time it took Millar and Hitch to write and draw 26 issues of a comic book.

The funny thing is, rumor has it that McGuinness is almost, if not already done penciling Vol. 4.

I thought you didn't like cliche dialogue,shakey camera angles, bad editing, cliche action movie plots, and an impossible machine which ignores even comic book logic.

Begins was anything but that.It's the only comic film which takes its sweet ass time building the character's origin.As for the doomsday machine thing,yea that bugged me.Can't win 'em all.

I'll be the first to say I was really disappointed by Spider-man 3. That out of the way, Spider-man 2 is anything but horrid. That movie was magical.

I can't wait for the conclusion to the Ultimates. It's a shame about the delays, but I can't say I haven't enjoyed this book. Looking forward to Loeb, specifically Loeb and McGuinness.

That's kinda good news, when Vol 4 comes around there is no reason for delays. Also gives they can start work on Vol 5 since they know what happens in Vol 4

We're just waiting on Vol 3 picking up... And I guess the end of Vol 2.

i picked this up today and throughly enjoyed it. Although it took forever i wasnt disappointed. It was an action packed comic. The 8 page spread was awesome. And they did a good job of wrapping up all lose ends and transforming the Ultimates to a more neutral party.

quick question who was on page 8 'was that thor? i havent got my glasses on' It wasnt Banner. Was it Pym?

Only one complaint about the entire issue (well, maybe two as I dont really get how smashing Loki in the head the first time didnt do the trick, but doing it a second time created a massive wave of something that killed him - why not do that the first time before allowing dozens of people to be eaten by Fenris?)

Anyway - it was the handling of Hank. I at least hope they investigate his claim of infiltration and he comes out as not a bad little spy. I was always hoping that the Ultimate Hank Pym wouldnt be given such a beating on all levels as he does in the 616. But sure enough, no redemption for Hank...

It's been so long that I kinda really didn't care anymore. But after reading this, I was just disgusted.
