No, it's safe to say he's still on issue #2.
LOL! You know, I was going to say that, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

He gets no benefit of the doubt from me. That's one lazy mofo. And even on the off chance that it actually does take him a long time to draw 22 pages of a comic book working 8-12 hours a day, that's fine. Just stay the hell away from monthly comics. What's sad is that him being slow isn't really the case. It's a work ethic problem. He has none.
That's pretty sad if he's only on issue 2 or 3, this creative team was announced around 2 years ago wasn't it? Loeb and Mad should've been working on this all that time and should have all 12 to 13 issues ready by now.
Well, tomorrow after 5-6 years Millar and Hitch finally complete their 26 issue run on the book. I've been re-reading the entire series so I can remember what's happened/ing, it's funny 'cause I saw ads for the first Spider-man movie in the 1st 2-3 issues, that's how long it's taken to finish. Raimi was able to complete 3 mega-budget movies in the time it took Millar and Hitch to write and draw 26 issues of a comic book.
Interesting fact there.I'd rather wait for 26 issues of Ultimates in 5-6 years than sit down and watch the horrid Spidey movies. Then again I'm biased and totally loathe comic book movies with the exception of the excellent Batman Begins.

I thought you didn't like cliche dialogue, shakey camera angles, bad editing, cliche action movie plots, and an impossible machine which ignores even comic book logic.![]()

I can't wait for the conclusion to the Ultimates. It's a shame about the delays, but I can't say I haven't enjoyed this book. Looking forward to Loeb, specifically Loeb and McGuinness.
That's kinda good news, when Vol 4 comes around there is no reason for delays. Also gives they can start work on Vol 5 since they know what happens in Vol 4The funny thing is, rumor has it that McGuinness is almost, if not already done penciling Vol. 4.

I wonder if Ang_hulk got his free issue yet.....

Hahaha
The lack of Hulk resolution is the only thing that bugged me,but I wonder if Millar decided to leave that up to Lindelof in his yet to be finished mini.Boo!
