Seriously id take the long waits if we could get the old team back. This reads like all star batman. Maybe Tony is just that drunk.

Possible Spoiler.

Christian Litcher has a page from Issue 3 up on his Deviant Art page.

If you don't see it maybe this will help

Since Issue one I haven't believed she's really dead.

Talk about a comic book death...Loeb's going a little overboard with his "twists."

Eh, it's five parts, and just like his Wolverine arc, which I liked a lot and was pretty entertaining and solid, it'll probably all click in the end.

It's a nice little change up from the usual "We'll tell you everything you need to know on our serialized, monthly schedule so you won't ever feel inadequate."

I'm all for a story not really making sense until it's finished, it makes things more interesting. I just wish the dialog sounded half ways natural.

The next issue is a flashback to the origins of Pietro and Wanda (which, as Cho's variant cover suggests, involves Wolverine). So she's still dead.

Did you read his issues of Ultimate Power? It was like a ****ing M. Night Shyamalan story.

I haven't, and now that I see why folks are saying this doesn't compare to Spider-Man: Blue I'm not sure I want to.

Meh...I'll jump back on when McGuinness starts.

Needed bumping just cos this week was #3.

Only notable things: Black Panther appears to be Cap. Apparently Wasp is better qualified to lead the team than Cap :whatever: . The Hank overdose is left to one side. The team doesnt appear to bother radioing in when they've been separated from the group (so fake Ironman swung by rather easily because no one seemed bothered that Tony had been gone for a few hours without reporting in). Wolverine seemed to think that Wanda's attire seemed to be connected directly to her mother's dress sense and therefore her 'magic' side. And apparently a bullet that weaves through the air and is keyed to a specific DNA requires a marksman to fire it...

^^well that sucks... i was looking fwd to his run on ultimates. hopefully they find someone comparable.

i'm sure there will be. loeb already stated his plans for the next arc.

Hopefully Millar and Hitch will make good on their promise to return to the Ultimates in 2013. Or hell, give it to Ellis and Nord--they clearly know how to write an Ultimates book.

i havnt read the book yet, but all this talk ive been hearing about it makes me really dissapointed.

I'd be all for Ellis and Nord taking a run on The Ultimates. I've quite enjoyed Ultimate Human thus far.

Though hopefully Ellis wouldn't screw it up with some Gah Lak Tus.

I'm all for Cary Nord getting Marvel work, so long as it's not in the Ultimate Universe.
