The "real" Cap is a colossal *****, like Batman. ;)

I love how people call David Icke a "nutcase", simply because they disagree with his views. Most people who call him a "nutcase" have probably never even read a book of his and base their opinion on what others have told them, nothing more than ignorant hearsay.

And remember, most people in the Ultimate Universe thought that Thor was a "nutcase" too, until recently... ;)

Heres the thing Sum-O-G, I know quite a bit about Icke and the guy is a few cards shy of a full deck.

Other than that I think it's genius of Millar to base Thor on Icke, simply because that level of disbelief that most have with Icke is how we would react to Thor if he was real.

Alright, now hold up! I prefer Ult. Cap, but in no way is 616 Cap a *****! He's a bit less 'Soldier' and more 'Superhero' in the 616, but Cap is badass no matter what.

I disagree with many of Icke's views myself, and I find his style a bit amateurish and misinformed, but I wouldn't go calling him a "nutcase". :o

616 Cap's favorite movie is Brokeback Mountain. He even cried at the end. ;) :p

MAN THAT WAS COOOOOOOOL!!!

Have any of you guys picked up the Spotlight on Millar and McNiven?

It's pretty cool, and gives a lot of insight as to how much Millar actually REALLY LOVES Wasp!

After reading this preview, and his interview in Spotlight, I think he's got some cool things in store for her. I think he plans to make her a much tougher, and more rounded woman before he leave :)

She never needed to I guess. I wonder what Millar has in plan for her.

Is Millar leaving after Ultimates 2 ends?

I don't want him to, but I hear he was.

She never used her sting when she was full-sized before.
Yeah, I know... but I still wouldn't have thought she packs enough punch to fry 3 super soldiers like that. I mean look at their faces - all desiccated 'n 5hit. Anyway, I'm not complaining, just a little surprised is all.

Yeah. Says he can't think of a way to top himself. Jeff Loeb and Joe Mad are taking over. Personally, if we want to retain the feel of The Ultimates, I think Warren Ellis and Frank Quietly would be a better replacement team. Their styles are similar to Millar and Hitch, but different enough so it won't be repeatetive.

I'd agree with Ellis, but not Quietly for the art.

Yeah dont expect books to be on time with Joey Mad on art either.

Wow.

Please, give me a minute. I'm having a total geekgasm at the moment.

Okay. The eleventh issue was a blast. Action-packed issue with twists at all corners. Thor has escaped from his cell and is nowhere to be seen. Wasp owned the aliens with her super-sized stings. Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch returned and surprised Cap and Wasp (heck, I was surprised, too). Iron Man gets a new suit (I think he'll come and save the day with a new kick-ass suit ;)).

And the big twist
Bruce Banner turns into Hulk and starts going nuts. YES!

Great issue.

Why did Wasp never do that before?!?

The only time I can think she would have had a chance to is when she was fighting with hank but mabey she didnt want to hurt him that bad. With hulk,if she was full size he would have been able to tear her in half alot easier and thats about it for her chances.

Yeah i thought it was a great issue, but it seemed waaaay too rushed. I was reading it while eating, so maybe i was rushing too. But the big problem i had is that
How the hell is Bruce now here in the US when he suppossed to be fighting wolverine in asia? I mean, when does Ult Hulk vs Wol take place? But i guess it makes sense bc no one except him can take the abomination
But i'm glad to see the pieces finally coming together. I also liked the reason Millar gave as to why Loki hasn't been a major player. Now we just have to wait another year before we see everybody fighting. Best moment of the issue:
when george screams for his dead wife! LAURA!!
No hidden messages there.

Well, maybe it was the huge gap between this and the last issue that made this issue seem to rush. I read the two back-to-back and they both flowed together nicely.

I don't read the Ultimate Hulk versus Wolverine, so I don't really care. I'm sure it's nothing to lose sleep over. :)

Yeah, it was hilarious when Dubya screams for his wife. I still can't believe they wrote Dubya into The Ultimates, using him as the actual President instead of a no-name. Lol.

I think Ult. Wolverine vs. Hulk is supposed to take place before Grand Theft America, unfortunately it's on the All Star Batman/All Star Superman/Ultimates release schedule.
