His coach wants him to fight Nate Diaz again at lightweight.

I have no problem with taking featherweight belt off of McGregor. But IMHO, they shouldn't have made a new interim title.
it depends if his next fight will be the winner of khabib/tony he can always do nate diaz trilogy or a ww title fight

If Pettis wins than Jose Aldo is still technically the full champion...and the useless interim title is uselessly vacant.
You literally cannot write this ****, it's like a soap opera regarding this FW title recently.
So if Anthony Pettis beats Max Holloway, then what? Even though he doesn't win the interim title do you then give him a title shot at Jose Aldo knowing he's 1 for 1 at FW making weight?
IMO, if Pettis are to win tomorrow I don't think he should get a title shot. Just like you cannot win a title in a title bout if you miss the weight limit, I don't think you should be able to earn a title shot coming off a bout that you've missed weight regardless of who you beat.
How can you support Conor doing stupider crap, but complain about Woodley? On another note I see Tyron Woodley just can't help himself, the donkey has AGAIN called for a bout with Nick Diaz at UFC 209..
Also just reading the article further he's even been trying to provoke McGregor on social media as well apparently into taking a fight with him.
I really am developing a hatred for Woodley beyond any other fighter, for a start he didn't even beat Wonderboy & that should be an immediate rematch for sure, then on top of that you've got Maia who also should be getting a title shot.
Nick Diaz & Conor McGregor's names shouldn't even be entering his pea sized brain when he's got 2 fighters already waiting for a title shot at WW.

I think Nick could totally beat him. Which is funny all things considered. If Pettis wins than Jose Aldo is still technically the full champion...and the useless interim title is uselessly vacant.
I can't hate Woodley too much because he's champion and he wants to make as much money as possible. I just think he doesn't understand that he's not the moneyweight fighter. Just because he won the title doesn't mean he can fight whoever he wants. He has to still take tough challenges.

Jumping weights, never defending a title but holding it for no reason, getting a title shot when he is 1-1 in the division against a non-contender, taking a long break now, etc.Such as?
Well the point is Woodley wants a money fight. No different then Conor.I think Nick would beat him as well, but it's not really the point. I think Nick would finish him as well.
I find what worse, all things considered.Actually, McGregor was 0-0 at lightweight in the UFC when he won the title. He was 1-1 at welterweight against Nate Diaz.
To his credit, he's fought I think three times in his career at lightweight, 4 now with the title win. So technically, he's 4-0 at lightweight, and he was Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion. It was Cage Warriors, but there you go.

If literally any other profession in the world took 10 months off while their girlfriend/wife gave birth, they'd be fired. Come on now. B, I can't believe you actually wrote that. McGregor is a champion. A champion who once held a belt hostage at that. A champion comes with even more obligations.
should be a good fight, Aldo's leg kicks will be a factor in the fight. Holloway seems to fight on the limits of his reach exploding with with flurries & combos. If Aldo's smart he'll have his leg kick game on point, as it always usually is, but even moreso for this contest.
