Okay, I'm sick of Mcdonalds lies

but when you have commercials stating that your burger is 99 cents, pre tax (or course I already expect to pay over a dollar after tax) and then when I get there, my burger is over a dollar, pre tax. What if I came with the exact change for 99 cent plus tax, and not 1.12 plus tax, huh?!

The burger is still 99 cents. McDonald's cannot control how much the government charges you in tax. Well, in theoriy.

The fact that they took the burgers home and put them in their freezers is funny. Recent studies have shown that McDonald's food is less biodegradable than Styrofoam. Ever drop a french fry between the seats in your car, and find it completely in tact months later?

Yes :( I think the salt content has something to do with that also.

whats a REAL lie is them being open 24hrs...

now thats bull****...

sure they're technically open.. but only with a "limited" menu... which means only chicken mcnuggets and one other thing...no burgers!

i remember asking once if they had a bacon cheeseburger and the lady said 'no'... and i asked if they had a cheeseburger and she said 'yes' then i asked if they had bacon and she said 'yes'.... then i told her to put the ****ing bacon in cheeseburger and theres my freakin bacon cheeseburger.

The Mickey D's down from my street, they always claim their "ice cream machine" is broken. I can not recall anytime in the past year I have gone there trying to get a sundae, McFlurry or whatever and them saying, "our ice cream machine is broke."

The McDonalds' in my town that are 24hrs no longer have a limited menu. The entire menu is available 24hrs now. :)

Who here has actually been awake at about 2am and just started craving a quarter pounder?

Sadly, me almost every night. The people in the Drive Thru know me by name. Sometimes I wait until 4am to get their breakfast instead.

There's one McDonald's in town here that's open 24 hours...but the workers there turn off the lights and pretend to be closed when you drive up.

I have no idea if mine are 24 hrs because I never go. They probably are, this being a mega college town and all.

Hmm.

Well I read through the thread and the only thing I think we can do is march down to the nearest McDonalds, gathering a posse as we go, torches and pitchforks in hand. We run the employees out of town and burn down the store.

Who's with me?

well, its the only thing open around here besides the overly priced dennys

I have a 45 minute commute to work. I pass 4 McDonalds on my way.

That is almost 1 McDonalds every 10 minutes! Crazy!

I thought a double cheese burger was 99cents? Why did I pay a 1.12 for something that's supposed tobe 99cents?

And what's the difference between a "mcdouble" and a double cheeseburger?

And when the hell has it been the norm to spend 6 bucks on a big mac meal.

what the hell is going on?

The amount of cheese.

Mcdouble has one piece of cheese, the Double Cheeseburger has 2 pieces. I got ripped like that about a month ago on my lunch break. I was kinda pissed.

Yes, no one has answered this correctly yet so I will. Lol its embarassing that I know this. McDonalds put the double cheeseburger on the value-menu (priced at 1.29)...not to be confused with the dollar menu. The Mcdouble is exactly the same as the double cheeseburger with one less piece of cheese, and as a result it is now .99 lol.

**** lol too late.

this is why KFC is better...it's all so easy to order and EVERYTHING is chicken...
