Yeah, Patel is one of my favorites for Reed now that Isaac is out of the picture.Dev Patel for Reed. He's on the younger side, but I want to see the FF grow into how they are in comics today. I don't want them to start out fully formed.

He'd be 32/33 by the time the FF likely starts filming, and young enough for a long running franchise.

I’m rewatching the Spider-Man films now with a specific eye toward the directing - not the casting or production design or script, just the directing.
And this guy has some talent.
Seriously, if somebody showed me these films without any context and asked me what I thought of the director, I’d say “This guy’s pretty good.”
As long as he has a good script and understanding of/respect for the FF, I think he can do a good job.
Which bits are you seeing in particular that makes you think that?
Not a big fan of Watts but this sequence impressed me.
Still remain cautiously optimistic about his FF film.
Throw Lamorne Morris in for Reed Richards consideration too. I never watched New Girl, but he’s pretty good in Woke on Hulu. He’s charismatic & charming; and I could buy him as the smart guy in the room.

I went to elementary and high school with the real life Keef! Extremely talented even at a young age and a super nice guy.
that’s awesome!
