The Dark Knight Rises Oldman and Nolan on the 3-th movie(possible villain hint)

Unless, of course, there is some kind of an easter egg type of clue at the end of TDK like the Joker card in BB.
P

This actually seems like a strong possibility after what Oldman said.

Two-Face should be the primary villain in the third film, but they ought to use the Riddler. Yeah, that would be the same as Batman Forever, but if Nolan does come back we would get much more faithful and realistic incarnations of both rogues.

I'm sure Eckhart would want to finish what he starts as Two-Face in TDK. Nolan will probably come back for the third film, I think he just has other projects to do first, same with Bale.

It'll be hard for them to use Selina just because of how much the Catwoman movie bombed. However, I think if they do use her, it wont be a huge part, maybe just as a minor role appearing a couple times. Riddler would be cool, especially if he's done right, but I think it'd be cool to bring in a new villain that hasnt been used yet. Deadshot, Hush or someone who can give batman a good physical match would be awesome.
Not at all. Batman & Robin bombed so...

Exactly Catwoman is Batman character, CINO (Catwoman In Name Only we fans call it) it was back in 2004 none comic book fans probably forgotten now anyway.

I think Schumacher did Riddler the best out of all his villains... that's not saying much... but I don't need a rehash of Riddler. I think Penguin or Bane would work better. Stick with mobsters and similar villains along those lines. Selina COULD be involved... I think I'd prefer Selina over Ridder... but I don't think we need either Catwoman or Riddler again.

No disrespect to Heath, but Joker should be recasted. He is the most iconic villain in comic history. I honestly think he should have a small part, like being in arkham most of the movie. Then in the end, have one final battle after Joker's escape. Batman VS Joker. That would be a good way to end a Nolan trillogy.

I would love to see Nolan's take on the Riddler! I want to see Batman use his head and detective skills in the next movie. If the reports are true and Two-Face is a Vigilante rather than a straight out "villian", Batman 3 could be about Batman and Two-Face both trying to capture Riddler. Two-Face wants to kill him, and Batman must capture Riddler while also saving him from Two-Face.

I think, if The Riddler is introduced in the third film, he should be like he is in the current Batman comics, as characterised by Paul Dini. Make him a sleazy private investigator, who finds himself at odds with Batman as they both pursue the same case.

Johnny Depp or Timothy Spall for the mad hatter

Nathan Jones for killer croc

The Riddler Sucks

Nathan Jones sucks!! But Johnny Depp...I really believe he could pull off the joker rather well!! I mean.. look at all the characters he has done...

I say make the Riddler a serial killer who leaves clues. Maybe he's a college aged guy or something.

i duno about the riddler, how can you top the joker? but if they did use riddler he shud be sumat sick like a peedo or rapist, harsh but its a harsh world, a serial killer is borin you zsaz or wateva hes called i wud rather two face a straight up villain then a punisher rip off . holla!

There is no way you can top The Joker in terms of making a sick, twisted criminal mastermind. So, for the Riddler, they shouldn't even try. What they need to do, in making him an antagonist, is take a totally different approach.

Now, I have no idea how "The Dark Knight" ends, so this is all speculation. But I could imagine the next step the franchise taking being Batman on the run, with the law now fully focused on hunting him down. In this light, I could see The Riddler as, like I said, a private investigator, with a reputation for "solving puzzles". The police bring him in on an advisory capacity, to help them track down Batman, and work out who is behind the mask. Cue lots of little moments with The Riddler drowning in heaps of paperwork, scrawling notes on his whiteboard, talking to himself about his findings into a little recorder.

So, The Riddler becomes like the Tommy Lee Jones to Batman's Harrison Ford, to use a "Fugitive" analogy. Or, for a "Prison Break" analogy, the Mahone to Batman's Michael Scofield.

Theres the mad hatter. Hes just as equally as sick and twisted as the joker but his motives are a little bit off is all i can say. Jokers about spreading anarchy and having fun doing it, the hatters not really about spreading anarchy and what not but he still is creepy nonetheless.

From Arkham Asylum:

"I should say Im very much cleverer than any of the people who put me here. As a matter of fact, I could leave anytime I wanted. It's only a doll's house after all. Anyway I dont mind. I like Dolls. Particulary the real ones. To know them is to know myself. Little girls especially, little blonde girls. Shameless b1tches. Thats why Children interest me. Theyre All mad You see. But in each one of them is an implicate adult, order out of chaos or is it the other way around? "

Nathan Jones sucks!!

i gotta disagree with you there, hes giant and hes agile, Croc is a brawler and Nathan jones is the only guy to say hes fought tony jaa, jet li and jackie chan

I say make the Riddler a serial killer who leaves clues. Maybe he's a college aged guy or something.

And this goes against everything the character of the riddler.

Dark Knight/Dark City, anyone? There was a huge outlash at making mr nygma like the rest of the psychopaths, people love the riddler BECAUSE he's different.

Hush comes to mind. You know, at the end when Batman lets him in on the fact that Edward has royally screwed himself over?

The riddler is essentially the fly in Batman's ointment, much like Mysterio, a pain in the ass to deal with. He could be used as a distraction though.

And with the rumored ending of TDK (ugh don't get me started on THAT choice) I don't know what direction they could go with.

I really want them to go with Catwoman, she was introduced at the same time as joker and the only villain older than them is Hugo Strange. She has great chemistry with batman and im sick of the lack of females in this franchise (rachel doesnt count).

she would also fit in well in Nolan's world. i loved michelle, but we need a new, fresh and faithful interpretation of catwoman, just keep the leather ;)

My main focus right now isn't who the villain is but if Nolan returns. By the way it seems TDK ends, I can't see how he wouldn't come back to make the arc of his story come full circle

Totally agree there is a lack of a strong female and sexual tension in these movies. Catwoman would be cool as hell in Nolan's verse.

This could be a cool tie in and idea. I love the duality from all sides and aspects from Batman and two face. Plus it would be about time that we finally see why he is the worlds greatest detective.

I could also see this working as well.

Im sorry i really dont see this one working that much.

But i would love to see Catwomen in this world as well. If they introduced her somewhere in the third film to set her up for the fourth. That would be bad aZZ

how is oldman hinting about a 3rd movie villian. He went out and plainly said it.

So, are we gonna have Two-Face and The Riddler teaming up once again in a third Batman installment?

I didn't know Oldman tried to get out of TDK. What's the story on that?
