So in Begins we had the flying Bats, TDK we had blue flames. What do you think Batman 3 will have?

Possibly green fumes...But me thinky they will come up with something more original!

I hope they keep it in the same tradition of the first two. Have it start with the WB logo, DC logo, Legendary logo, then have something form a Bat logo then open the film.

I wouldn't mind the bat logo simply forming out of smoke, especially if the Riddler is involved.

Snow blowing over a yellow Bat symbol. :D

Bat droppings forming into the shape of the Bat Symbol.

I wann see the logo flowing like a cape, like a fabric, buy with many holes and rips, and a faint green light coming through them from behind.

I wanna see a torn Batman.

or maybe like a brick wall and it starts to crumble and the crumbling outlines the signal.

idk - just throwing out ideas.

Batman Begins Opening image was a swarm of screaming bats forming the Bat symbol, The Dark Knight opening image was the logo going up in blue flames silently... Dont you think it'd be cool to have the opening credit image of the next one have the screen filled with photos (black and white AND colour) of Bruce Wayne, Batman, some of bruce wayne with the bat mask crudely drawn over his face, Gordon, Dent, The Joker.. Everyone, really, these photos are mixed with newspaper clippings, post-its and little coloured green and purple lines connecting a lot of them together.. Clearly someone has figured out everything! As we've been assimilating this information the camera's been slowly panning out to reveal all of these images have been assembled on a crappy looking apartment wall in the shape of Nolans Bat Symbol... All of this happens in about 25 seconds to the sounds of an off screen clock ticking loudly.. reminiscent of Morgan Freemans metronome at the beginning of Seven

A computer-like sequence, with unknown computer characters changing into the Bat-symbol. One of these characters is a question mark.

Great thread. We need a discussion about this!

I'm not down with the numbers thing. Like someone said, too much like The Matrix.

It has to be in accordance with the color theme. Begins was very much orange, The Dark Knight was very blue. I actually really like the smoke idea, and just have it be pure gray. Everything is gray now. Batman is seen as a bad guy to the public, hes on the run. Everyone has secrets. This could be the noir almost B&W bat film.

A sea of police cars, ambulance, and swat trucks with the red and blue lights forming the bat symbol on the streets of gotham during night.

A real dissected dead bat pinned on a table. And the movie starts in Arkham.

how about a single bat flying in the darkness, than it escapes into the open air in south america and a fire ball blows out of the cave and enguls the bat , or its shot by locals

I like this a lot!

But...It would work a lot better if it was for an adaptation of TDKR...

Just want to post these images since it could help inspire ideas more easily.

Batman 3 (Shadow of the Bat? Gotham? Gotham City?....)

??????????????????????????????????

It all really depends on the colour scheme of the movie I guess...!

whatever they do it will be glorius!!!!!

^ I love the symbols each sequence represents. Begins - the formation of Batman. TDK - Batman emerging from the flames; a hero bursting through the chaos and destruction.

And I like the grey smoke idea. I've been saying for a while now that it would be awesome for the third one to have a dull grey tone, but honestly, whatever fits the story and environment best is what should be used.

I've had two ideas:

1. If the Riddler is involved, the bat-symbol being formed from lines of computer coding.

2. Blood dripping onto a rusty surface.
