Glad to see some cracking-down is happening. As this forum and others like the Spidey forums and the Superman forums, this is commonplace.

I've been a flamer before, but I've always done my best to fully defeat the other's arugment as opposed to just flaming. Things like people bashing Nicholson for no real reason other than the fact that they don't like him, things like that. A lot of people don't understand that you don't have to bash something just because you don't like it, or like something better. Even more people seem not to understand that because this franchise is new, you don't have to bash the older franchise.

Tim Burton once said "There's just as much room for the television show and the comics as there is for my movie. Why wouldn't there be?" Truer words were never spoken.

And why flame back? I know, from the bottom of my heart, how hard it is not to. But a post reporting works much better. Flaming back gets you nowhere. Reporting the other guy's post gets them in trouble with the authorities. You can't have better bragging rights than that.

You hold the power in an flamewar by reporting the post. It's only "cowardly" if you're a childish buffoon. I mean, having an intelligent argument is great, but most people here won't do that, so reporting is the only way to go.
