They mentioned what they tested, I'm stated a few creative options they didn't test. I don't know if they would be able to break the netting. I do know that there are alloys out there that are almost unbreakable that are not called adamantium. If it could be molded into a net it would be a great start. Let's be honest here, what's more plausible in our world, what I just suggested for building a functional megazord?
If you really want to get narly, have the net be sharp too, the more tension applied the more flesh is then torn. I'm sure even Peta would have something to say about that.
Didn't have time to test it out? They had time to build multiple megazords...
As far as I know, most if not all multi celled organisms need a few key organs, if these organs are hit with say a harpoon attached to a power source with say, a city's worth of voltage at the other end...I'm not even sure anyone short of Superman/Thor and maybe the hulk could keep on keeping on. Then again, like you said, maybe they could absorb it.
The one good thing I read about the megazords is that they are dynamic, that's true. The fight can go several places and they can follow.
I'm fine with sci fi, but there is a diff between smart sci fi and transformers, I fear this is the latter...though I doubt anyone will admit it.
