Part of the reason I'm so eager to see how they are is because I want romance between them. The plot sets itself up so hard. If they don't fall in love or kiss or whatever, I will be less than thrilled.

I'm actually hoping they don't. It seems like a logical conclusion tho. When you've literally seen and felt someone's deepest darkest secrets it could either lead to emotional attachment and romance or it could also lead to something deeper. Even the ones we love there are things wed rather not know about them. I prefer the deeper approach and I think she will see him like a big brother. Them being almost like inseparable siblings. It could go a few different ways. I just don't really want a romantic sub plot.

Yeah I can see them going the route you describe Marvolo, and I really hope they do.
The major connection between the two characters described thus far is that they both lose family members to kaiju attacks. I'd be much more interested in a familial relationship rather than a romantic one.

GDT's takes on romance are, and this is not really meant as a criticism, kind of juvenile or at least he tends to go for a kind of screwball comedy vibe. Its not needed here at all.

Honestly, I hated how they did the romance in the Hellboy movies.

I liked how it was more subdued in Blade 2, but that was more David Goyer's script.

Charlie Hunnam in a SDCC interview mentioned that it was like a love story....Without the love story. Take from that whatever you will.

If this does get a decent critical review ratio they should release them sooner than later. If a good deal of them are positive it helps generate buzz. Hopefully DM2 doing gangbusters doesn't steal too much of the headlines.

While some folks have seen the film, most of the critics screenings don't start until Monday.

They really should have had ads on during the recent sports finals, Hockey was just recently with Basketball not long before that, though with the Basketball, they were still pushing Man of Steel.

This is what I want. A lot of times movies rush the romance with some kind of kiss feels too forced. Can't we just have them be friends and have a hint of maybe something more in the future.

It's the 10 pm screenings that get that bad ass IMAX poster though.

I would definitely go to that but I don't care to see the film in 3d.
